Will, Living Will, and Power of Attorney

Richard did a great job in developing Wills, Living Wills, and Power of Attorney for my wife and me. He used a clear method in determining the necessary information he needed us to provide. He brought up alternatives when something we might have thought would create issues or challenges for our exe...cutor or heirs. I would recommend Richard to anyone looking for this type of legal work.

Excellent Service

Richard has helped us with two adoptions. One adoption was for my step daughter and the other for two foster children. Richard is such a kind and genuine man, and always eager to get what you need taken care of. Not only did he keep us informed, but also helped to guide us in what we needed to do nex...t. He managed to get our paperwork completed promptly and was always ready for the next step. He was extremely flexible with the meetings, locations, and appointment times. The process moved along smoothly and was completed quicker than the state said they generally take! I'm very proud to have Richard Dawahare as my lawyer and would recommend him to anyone. Not only will he get the job done, but you'll see he actually cares!

"I have had the unique opportunity as a Family Court Judge to observe the manner in which Richard Dawahare represents his clients week in and week out in the most challenging matters. Whether he is defending a parent facing life-changing allegations of neglect or abuse, or helping a child in crisis, Richard always goes beyond the call of duty and advocates for his clients with great zeal and determination.. I am constantly amazed at Richard's willingness, for example, to drive several hours to speak personally with a child in order to best promote the best interest of that child in court. Richard is the consummate gentleman with a unique balance of tenacious passion and wise discretion in his work. I am pleased to give him the highest commendation as a lawyer in family court."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
