Excellent

EXCELLENT We learned about Dan Carmen through the internet, he is a Veteran and a former JAG Officer. His knowledge and supportive demeanor gave my husband the confidence that we made the right decision to hire him. Thank you Dan Carmen for all you do to support your clients. - Karen client sp...ouse (5 star review)

He is not a good attorney

I hired mr carman I paid him 5000$ to represent me on a DUI first offense He did not do much of anything He did manage to miss a filing date And then proceeded to move up my sentencing date in the hopes that would not find out what he had done until after I was already sentenced how anyone co...uld be so sinister in their dealings with someone who has entrusted them with their well being is beyond understanding Mr carman explained it to me that the evidence against me which consisted of a BAC of .092 was just to much for him to handle So after I realized what he had done ( missing the filing date by 24 hours then neglecting to inform me of his negligence ) I went back and read everyone of his online reviews All of which consist of mindless generic praise that sounds more along the lines of someone who has written his own reviews then it does by previous clients only one review he has actually goes into detail as to what this attorney did for that client and it is a one star review I did not find mr carman to be anything like what his praise said he was He wasn't busting with knowledge he wasn't ready to take on my case like a tiger he wasn't easy to get in touch with he didn't keep my informed All I can really say he did was take my money and throw me under the bus I am ashamed that I hired this guy

Randy, I'm sorry that you feel as you do. Over the years, my firm has represented thousands of clients successfully, and often with very good results. Unfortunately, like a medical problem that can include lengthy treatments with results to be determined, a legal problem can have a strong effect on one's emotions. As always, you can call me on my cell phone at 859.396.1049 to discuss things personally. Occasionally a case comes along that has some unusual elements - it involves 3+ years of litigation -- even on a misdemeanor charge -- multiple mistrials, multiple defense attorneys, an appeal, and even witnesses who at first seem favorable for the defendant, only later to turn against him. Such cases are tough for everybody, especially the defendant. In any event, I want the best for each of my clients, including each one feeling as satisfied as humanly possible, under the circumstances. Please call me anytime to talk.

DUI Attorney

I suggest you save your time and money. If you want someone to set up an appointment and make you wait 30+ minutes why he paces around adjusting pictures or complaining his secretary isn't around and then ramble on with no helpful information. Then says he will contact you before court date but doesn...'t, only to show up 30 minutes late to court and drag you in the hall and says your best option is to plead guilty. So here you are thinking you gave someone $1500 dollars and the best he has to offer is the prosecutor is willing to give the minimum sentence if you plead guilty. Next thing I know I am in front of the Judge having my license removed and sentence to 4 days in jail. My blood level came back at 1.53. This is .03 over the 1.5 which then they charge as aggravated. The .03 is below the accuracy of the test. So I assumed when Dan the man said plead guilty it wouldn't be to aggravated. Well here I am out the $1500 dollars, license gone, car setting outside and Dan the Man smiling walking out the door with easy money. Save your money on this guy. Oh I got pulled over after leaving a poker game with the city police sergeant and other officers. I had 2.25l of 13 percent wine over a 6 hour period. Some that might sound a lot but its barely over one drink an hour. An officer pulled me over because he said I turned my turn signal on too late. It was 12:30 at night and I was stopped to turn left onto 27. The light took at least 4 minutes to change. Waited it out it turned green and as I started to turn I saw a car in my rear view mirror approaching very rapidly. So in the middle of the turn I put on my turn signal. Well I barely made it through the intersection before the car was right on my bumper. I am in a civic so the lights were pretty blinding. It took me a bit to see it was a cop. Well he followed for about mile and pulled me over. So probably not good cause to pull me over. Definitely should have gotten out of aggravated. Dan is not your man. Good luck. Oh yea I forgot to mention. Dan the Man says he does DUI's all the time. What a racket.

EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS BY A VERY SKILLED ATTORNEY WHO CERTAINLY KNOWS HIS WAY AROUND THE COURTHOUSE

I retained Mr Carman based to on the recommendation of some extremely prominent Civil Attorneys who do not handle criminal cases yet highly recommended him. I must admit I was a little apprehensive at first because I live out of state and I never met him face to face only talking over the phone and ...via email coupled with the fact that his fee was very reasonable and to be honest was less than I expected to pay. My fears very quickly disappeared and I realized I had hired a very extremely competent lawyer who was knew his way around the courtroom and had a very good relationship with the prosecutors office. After a few court dates which I did not even have to travel from out of state to attend and after being kept up to date, my teenage son's major traffic violations that caused a 3 year licence suspension was reduced to minor traffic infractions that were not even going on his driving record and kept his licence intact. I never dreamed in a million years of such a favorable outcome and I was very pleased with the outstanding results this fine Attorney delivered. I have dealt with many lawyers who promised me the moon only to not pan out in the end. He is certainly not that, he is a very well versed very competent Attorney with the relationships that enable him to get favorable results for his clients. Outstanding communication. Extremely favorable results. Very Fair Fee. A very nice guy who truly cares about his clients. Dan is the Man!!!!

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"Dan is that rare attorney that you come across who tries cases. While many lawyers advertise that they secure great results for their clients, only a handful can actually produce a record of successful jury verdicts. Dan tries cases and his trial experience is his bargaining tool that gives you an option to go to trial instead of taking a bad deal. I have had the pleasure of knowing Dan for over 11 years as a lawyer and Marine Corps Officer. I am particularly impressed by Dan’s experience and ability to think outside the box with defense strategies. Although he relies upon his beard to make him look witty, he is actually a smart attorney. As an attorney, Dan earns my highest recommendation."
