Excellent services Provided

Amazing lawyer Dan Carmen defended me in my case and I can confidently say that he is very in tune with his clients and their needs based on their case as well as great communication and always there when you have any questions. I got my case dismissed and now can continue with my life and children w...ith out worrying about a inconsistent charge and jail time.!!

money and attention seeker

Initially he promised me to dismiss my DUI case and made me pay the fees. After that he totally ignored me and simply went on for trial and finally he forced me to plead guilty in court by saying that is the only option I have, when all trials are simply wasted by him earlier with no response at all....

Hello, First, you nave posted anonymously, so it is not possible for me to reach out to you personally and address your concerns, assuming you are actually someone who hired me. Please feel fee to post using your name, or call my cell phone at 859.396.1049. Second, in virtually every initial consult I tell a potential client that there is never (and I mean never) a 100% guarantee or promise as to a result in a case, and but what I can promise is to do everything possible to get the best result that is humanly possible. Third, I have never, nor could or would I ever force someone to plead guilty to anything. When done, guilty pleas are usually part of a deal of some kind, are something of a last resort when the evidence against a defendant is strong enough to convict the person of something at jury trial (which may have been so in your case, although I do not know who you are), and are always done freely and voluntarily - when done at all - in any case with which I am associated. I stand by my work with thousands of people I've represented in criminal cases over the years. Again, I'd be happy to talk with you, address your concerns, and perhaps even facilitate the filing of a motion to set aside your plea -- all if I knew who you are; it is difficult for me to guess at your identity from your post because I simply have never done the things you've mentioned with anyone at all. If you are an actual former client, feel free to call me. Thanks, Dan

Real Deal

2016 People call defense attorneys because the consequences of their legal issues might cost them jail time and or serious fines. We are a little scared whether we are guilty or innocent. I needed an attorney who could either win my case, or use his experience to make the difference between minimu...m and maximum sentencing a reality. Dan was the third attorney I called. I hired him because he did not try to "sell" me, He simply asked specific questions about my case, and about my legal history. By doing this, he understood everything the prosecutors already knew. He told me an effective attorney works both in the courtroom, and behind the scenes. I was concerned his fees would be too much to afford. Not so, his fee was much less than I expected. I learned over time that he shares a mutual respect with area prosecutors. Considering both sides want to win, good relationships allow your attorney and the prosecution to more accurately measure each other's level of confidence. I understood that going to trial is a decision, not a fact. We decided to go to trial Shortly before we went to trial, Dan convinced the prosecution to drop the charges. My confidence in the legal system is restored. Dan is the real deal. Name withheld Lexington, KY

You want the best, Dan is just that!

Dan is a very well knowledgable attorney. He will do everything in his power to make sure you get the justice you deserve. He will be honest and let you know what needs to be done, even if you don't like it, listen to him. I learned from my own experience to trust him, because in the end he knows bes...t when it comes to law. I am a very impatient, strong willed and stubborn person, and he never got irritated with me, he always made me feel easy. Some attorneys won't answer the phone or reply, not Dan he is on top of things. I bugged him a lot, because I am so impatient and he was right there to answer my questions. If you want certain result from your case, he will get it.

DUI Attorney

I suggest you save your time and money. If you want someone to set up an appointment and make you wait 30+ minutes why he paces around adjusting pictures or complaining his secretary isn't around and then ramble on with no helpful information. Then says he will contact you before court date but doesn...'t, only to show up 30 minutes late to court and drag you in the hall and says your best option is to plead guilty. So here you are thinking you gave someone $1500 dollars and the best he has to offer is the prosecutor is willing to give the minimum sentence if you plead guilty. Next thing I know I am in front of the Judge having my license removed and sentence to 4 days in jail. My blood level came back at 1.53. This is .03 over the 1.5 which then they charge as aggravated. The .03 is below the accuracy of the test. So I assumed when Dan the man said plead guilty it wouldn't be to aggravated. Well here I am out the $1500 dollars, license gone, car setting outside and Dan the Man smiling walking out the door with easy money. Save your money on this guy. Oh I got pulled over after leaving a poker game with the city police sergeant and other officers. I had 2.25l of 13 percent wine over a 6 hour period. Some that might sound a lot but its barely over one drink an hour. An officer pulled me over because he said I turned my turn signal on too late. It was 12:30 at night and I was stopped to turn left onto 27. The light took at least 4 minutes to change. Waited it out it turned green and as I started to turn I saw a car in my rear view mirror approaching very rapidly. So in the middle of the turn I put on my turn signal. Well I barely made it through the intersection before the car was right on my bumper. I am in a civic so the lights were pretty blinding. It took me a bit to see it was a cop. Well he followed for about mile and pulled me over. So probably not good cause to pull me over. Definitely should have gotten out of aggravated. Dan is not your man. Good luck. Oh yea I forgot to mention. Dan the Man says he does DUI's all the time. What a racket.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"Dan is that rare attorney that you come across who tries cases. While many lawyers advertise that they secure great results for their clients, only a handful can actually produce a record of successful jury verdicts. Dan tries cases and his trial experience is his bargaining tool that gives you an option to go to trial instead of taking a bad deal. I have had the pleasure of knowing Dan for over 11 years as a lawyer and Marine Corps Officer. I am particularly impressed by Dan’s experience and ability to think outside the box with defense strategies. Although he relies upon his beard to make him look witty, he is actually a smart attorney. As an attorney, Dan earns my highest recommendation."
