Worlds Greatest Attorney

This is not some superlative, obligatory review. I’ve been arrested 26 times in 4 states. Spent tens of thousands of dollars on “the biggest names in criminal defense”. Zac Meihaus literally knows my case better than I do. He not only returns my calls, he calls me Saturday nights at 10pm, Sunday morn...ings at 9am. He’s so good at what he does, he’s accomplished the impossible for me twice in the last month. I’ll never use or recommend another lawyer as long as I live.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Zac brings a refreshing enthusiasm to the practice of law that endears him to judges, prosecutors, opposing counsel, court personnel and clients. He understands that effective advocacy is not based solely upon understanding and applicable of sterile legal concepts but upon building and maintaining relationships with people. He has achieved remarkable successes already because of these skills that many young attorneys fail to grasp. Zac could charm an owl out of a tree. I have worked with Zac when he prosecuted cases and have consulted on other matters since he began his private practice. He has impressed me with his conscientiousness (he truly gives a damn), integrity, intellect and his care for his clients. Zac's clients are lucky to have him in their corner. Zac is a rising star whom I heartily endorse without hesitation."

"Zac is a former prosecutor turned criminal defense attorney who also handles family law, DUI's, and personal injury claims such as car wrecks."

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"If arrested or otherwise accused of a crime, you need to immediately contact this very capable attorney. Zac got his start as a prosecutor in Jefferson County Kentucky. He quickly grew dissatisfied with how the justice system often treats the accused. Fortunately, Zac took the skills and knowledge developed as a prosecutor and has since devoted himself to expertly defending those accused of criminal acts. Zac also handles family law and personal injury claims and consistently produces good outcomes. I have worked with Zac and against him; In every instance he impressed me with his knowledge, skill, and professionalism. I absolutely recommend his services without any reservations whatsoever."

"When it comes to criminal defense, Zac's the man. As a former prosecutor himself, Zac knows all the ways beat them. Hire an insider, hire Zac."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
