Avoid!

After being hit by a drunk driver, December 2020, and caused serious and permanent injuries. Back, neck, nerve damage and brain damage. I needed a lawyer. I made the mistake of hiring Matthew Mestayer. I hired him to handle my personal injury and against Nissan for seatback failure and airbags not d...eploying. He took 2 years to send demand letter to Nissan and missed limitation to file lawsuit. He set me up with Dr. Wolfson (neurosurgeon) we did the conservative approach and he gave me orders for PT for back and neck. Order for neurologist for the head issues. I have seusiures since the wreck, headaches, ringing in ear, visual disturbances. Matthew and his assistant said they had me a neurologist under LOP and was setting an appointment for me. I contacted the office a couple weeks later and was told, "I called this morning and waiting for a call back for appointment. I asked again a couple weeks later and was told the exact same thing. I randomly asked over a couple months and they never got me an appointment and moved on without getting me treatment or value for my case. I'm stuck with this for the rest of my life without answers. After a year, Matthew finally sent a demand letter to the insurance. After a month, I asked if they responded and he said no. I told him to file lawsuit and he said, great news, the insurance hired a lawyer and he is a friend of mine for over 20 years,we talked and he said we are going to settle. Matthew said we have a mediation date in April (2022) and his friend (Nathan Bosio) has to make it look like he didn't roll over. The other side canceled the mediation and I told Matthew to file lawsuit. Again, he told me we are going to settle and refused to file. I was about to lose our home and told him. He promised we would be settled and I would have money within 3 months and he agreed to loan me 5k that day 5/4/2022. I said, thank you, I dont want 5k today, 2k today and 1500 a month for the next 2 months. I said, I won't need that 3rd loan because we'll be done, he said "absolutely, babe" then he continued to loan me money montly and the 3 months came and went while the other side canceled more mediation dates. Again, I told him to file lawsuit. He refused. Saying, we're going to settle and continued loaning me money every month. We finally got to mediation 11/9/2022. And that lasted all of 5 minutes. The insurance adjuster and their lawyer, Nathan Bosio didn't have authorisation to negotiate and it ended. Matthew then came to me and said, give me 30 days, we'll settle, let me give you 1k dollars. He had just loaned me 1500 the week before as he had every month. Of course, nothing happened in that 30 days and he finally filed lawsuit, without telling me. The driver and owner of the company for whom he worked, both said in their deposition that he was not driving the truck home and was on his way to the office to drop off the truck. I fired Matthew Mestayer via text. He got on the court site to schedule my deposition and text me to manipulate me,saying my deposition was coming up and asked if I was sure. I didn't realize at the time that he scheduled to manipulate me. He loaned me another 1k and was more lies and allowing his friend (Nathan Bosio) to drag it out. 2024, finally, had a jury trial date, and that's what I wanted. He set up a mediation date 3 weeks before trial, and it was the good ol boy network. I did not want to settle. I did so under duress. There was a hearing that week for motions. Even though the owner said in deposition that the driver was going to the office after a job. The motions were that he was not. I told Matthew I want to go to trial and he threatened me,if I did not settle, I would get nothing and still owe him. I am in pain every second, and will remain this way for the duration of my life. After all the wrong Matthew did to me and my case, he wanted to profit and leave me ruined. I have proof of all I claim here, and much more!
