DO NOT HIRE base on my sister’s experience. My sister was battling with her narcissist fiancée for so many many years over their young daughter. Since then until now my sister are the one who’s taking care of her daughter’s expenses while the father in the other hand is not helping. The kid bounce... back and forth between mom and dad. The mother devoted herself to the kid while the dad was like a gigolo, marrying a women and get divorce right away and finding another woman ( to help him pay expenses). My sister seek help from Atty. Ellis to fight the custody in her behalf with a promise that my sister will be heard by the Judge. That was a couple of years ago. Atty. Ellis drag my sister’s and my poor niece case prolonging the process by so many alibis, promising that she had the court date and before the date came her secretary will sent my sister an email stating that they need to reschedule. Attorney’s office did the rescheduling so many times. One day my sister reach out to the scheduling office of the court just to make sure she will have a schedule. It was a success, the court scheduling office sent a courtesy copy of the chosen date to my sister and Atty. Ellis office. Attorney told my sister not to contact the court. Attorney’s reasoning was my sister seems mentally unstable. My sister provided Attorney Ellis all the proof needed for the Judge but Attorney never bother to spend time and talk to my sister even when it is close to the court date. My sister being heard by the judge never happen up to now. Attorney ask for a settlement letter from my sister during those time that the court date was being postponed but when my sister forwarded the settlement letter to Atty. Ellis, my sister never heard an answer back. “Attorney, my sister hired you with the hope that you are going to help her and be heard by the judge in court”. Dragging my sisters case for years and years without a clear answer from you is not fair especially if the poor kid is being involve. How many times my sister texted you about her daughter getting insect bites or bruises everytime she got pick up by her mom from her dad and the poor kid skin has so many insect bites marks. How many times my sister texted you that the father let the kid sleep over to other playmates house not knowing what kind of people are they. What my sister did was pray, that her daughter will be ok. How many times you ignored my sister reaching out to you. My sister pay you in full and what she asked you is to be heard by the judge in court. The date that she was hoping to be heard after a couple of cancellation in the past was May 2025 your office reschedule it August due to your operation. Now it is August, my sister received an email from your office stating that my sister’s case might reset again due to your illness. I sympathized on what you are going thru and believe me, I will pray for you but if you cannot represent my sister, she cannot wait until you get better. She suffered enough!!!!. You have no idea to the pain and suffering from the father of her child since the child was born. The father did not even pay a cent when the kid was delivered. He convinced my sister not to get married so that the government will take care of my sister. My sister was the one who paid for her daughter’s insurance since birth even the kids dental insurance. He took over for the kid insurance just this year with minimal coverage (basic). While when the kid was with my sister’s insurance, the kid has FULL coverage. My sister was paying the father of her child half of the rent when they were together. My sister has ALL the proof. If you cannot represent my sister Atleast have a decency of reimbursing her in full. I’m so sorry to say this, she has a fight of her own and she surely wish you are there for her. It is not right that she have to wait for you. Please reimburse her for the kids sake.
