Representing clients before federal agencies including MSPB, EEOC, VA, military Boards & administrative tribunals. As a JAG officer and administrative law practitioner, I navigate complex federal regulations and agency proceedings to protect your rights and benefits.

Fighting workplace discrimination for federal employees, servicemembers & private sector workers. I represent clients in EEOC complaints, USERRA, SCRA, MSPB appeals, military EO claims & Title VII litigation. Your dignity and career deserve aggressive legal protection from unlawful discrimination.

Representing federal employees, servicemembers & private sector workers in complex employment disputes. With experience as both a JAG officer and labor attorney, I handle wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation & workplace investigations with aggressive advocacy.

Counseling clients through complex federal regulatory compliance, enforcement actions & agency investigations. My government experience as Chief of Contract & Fiscal Law provides practical understanding of federal regulatory frameworks affecting businesses, contractors & federal employees.

As Chief of Contract & Fiscal Law for MS Army National Guard. I advise on federal procurement, contract disputes, bid protests & compliance matters. My military contracting experience provides practical insight into FAR/DFARS regulations and government acquisition processes.

Protecting Second Amendment rights for servicemembers, veterans & civilians. I handle firearms rights restoration, NFA matters, security clearance gun issues & federal firearms violations. Military background provides unique perspective on veteran gun rights restoration cases.

Marine Corps veteran & Army JAG with 20+ years serving those who serve. I handle discharge upgrades, admin separations, DRB petitions, DFAS appeals, ROTC disenrollment, waivers & military justice matters. Having served enlisted and as an officer, I understand what's at stake in your military career.

Ira saved my military career

I needed a military lawyer to represent me in an administrative separation action on short notice. When Ira took my case, he immediately coordinated my defense, gathered evidence that I wasn't able to obtain on my own, and worked professionally with my command in a way that made my life somewhat easi...er during the process. Ira ended up successfully defending me at the ADSEP board and I was completely cleared. I got my flag removed, my clearance unsuspended, and was able to continue serving in the LAARNG without issue. Ira knows the system, knows the law, and treated me like family the entire time. I cannot recommend him enough for any veterans who find themselves in a bind.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
