Satisfied client

Derek explained each step in my legal matter. He was also the attorney that showed up in court so I didn't have to worry about someone being there on my behalf that I did not know and didn't know what was going on in my case. At court he was on time and prepared. His law office was very professional ...and I was able to access my client file at anytime though their online system. I would definitely recommend him and his office and would use him in the future if needed.

"Derek goes from being quiet to being quite a story teller in a matter of seconds. Derek does not tolerate injustice and fights hard for his clients. If I were ever in trouble in his neck of the woods, I would hire him if I could."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
