hired Curtis to represent me in a cut and dry case in which I was charged with DUI other with no field sobriety test. After several months of payments he failed to appear before court on my behalf. Warrants were issued and I never even knew it until I recieved a letter stating my license had been su...spended. When I called the courthouse they informed me no one had even notified them they were representing me! misconduct: of Harvey Curtis Crowley I hired this attorney October of last year in Madison County for a DUI charge pending against me. he advise me to plead nolo contendere on a 0.02 DUI in Mississippi Rankin County Justice Court. he told me he will appeal it in a higher court which he had to do i...n 30 days. I have called his office on a number of occasions which no return phone calls back. I talk to his secretary on occasions and she told me his messages were received. After asking why my calls were not return. After that I receive 2 phone calls from Harvey Curtis Crowley I asked him what progress has he made on my case advise me I had to pay court fees. I had no problem paying for the fees. I asked him what are the total court costs and get back to me. after waiting a couple days i called his office again. no return phone call after that. I called his secretary reminding her that the 30 days is almost up for filing the appeal and to tell Harvey Curtis Crowley to file the appeal and I will pay the court costs. I get a notice of my license being suspended. i called his office and ask why I got this notice. I talk to his secretary and she don't know why and she will have him call me. After going to the courthouse and inquiring about the notice also learn he did not file the appeal and I was held in contempt of court for that. That afternoon I called his office and asked for a explanation for all this. the secretary said she will give him the message. no calls returned after that. I later discovered that he had not done any work on my case for 4 months. fees payed to Harvey Curtis Crowley $950 + some. I had to fire this attorney. I am stuck with this charge on my record because of this attorney. I have found out ex clients of Harvey Curtis Crowley having similar problems. please be aware perspective clients this is true and factual to my best ability

Mr. Crowley was hired to handle a criminal case. He was given a retainer to get started and agreed to show up for the first court date. He took the retainer but he failed to show up for multiple court dates. He never responded to my emails or phone calls. I drove to his office and his office was ...closed. I left a letter at his office asking him to call, but he never did. The prosecutor on my case attempted to contact him also and he never responded. He is very unreliable and did not return my money. Please don't use him for anything.

I hired Mr. Crowley when I had been in jail for two months. I already had an attorney, but she wouldn't get me bail. Mr. Crowley got me bail in two days. Then I got to go home at the ends of the trial. I already been in jail once so my family was so thankful they found Mr. Crowley and me tooC. ...I would have never survived in jail again. Mr. Crowley is a good man and I would tell anyone I know to use him.

I hired Curt Crowley to represent me after I had some bad experiences with 2 other lawyers. It was the best decision I ever made. My biggest problem with the other lawyers I had was that they would not tell me what was going on with my case. I never had that problem with Curt and his staff. The...y mailed me copies of everything they filed in my case and sent me letters explaining what was going on. They did such a good job, I never even had to call to see what was going on in my case. Same thing when I went to court. Curt told me everything that was going to happen ahead of time. Even during the hearing he would tell me things like the questions he was going to ask, what he was going to object to and why. He made me a part of the defense team and got my input during the trial. That by itself made me feel secure and made me lose the helpless feeling I had since I got arrested. Best part is that I got found not guilty. Or as Curt said, I walked out of the courtroom the same way I walked in. I can't say enough good things about Curt Crowley. If you get arrested, call him.
