My math background has helped me assist my client's with their financial problems in ways that those without a math background are unable to do. I have practiced law in Mississippi since January, 1977. My bachelors degree was in mathematics and I received both my bachelors degree and my Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi. My primary focus is in the areas of Chapter 13, Chapter 7, Chapter 12 and Chapter 11 Bankruptcy along with Social Security Disability Claims. I am one of only three attorneys in Mississippi selected as a super lawyer by MidSouth Super lawyers in the area of consumer bankruptcy law.
I am a member and a past-president of the Mississippi Bankruptcy Conference, which is the statewide organization for bankruptcy professionals in the state of Mississippi. I have frequently been on the faculty of seminars for attorneys and lay persons in the field of bankruptcy, including seminars for local, statewide and national audiences.

Even though I am not in his area of practice, he was more than helpful to explain what my possible options are, and responded in a timely manner! Thank you again!

Attorney Gambrell and his staff was wonderful. They accommodate me when I had to leave to go take care of family business. Even thought this is a sad time for me they were carrying and patient . Working after hours to finish my case. Again I want to say thank you

My legal relationship did not start with Robert Gambrell. I retained another attorney for my chapter 13 bankruptcy. That attorney due to health issues stopped practicing law. My case, as well as the bulk of that attorneys case load, was turned over to Robert Gambrell and his office. By this point...

Robert understood my bankruptcy questions and wrote clear and direct advice in a response in a manner that I felt I was in his office. It's quite apparent that he's being practicing law for 38 years. Robert is the attorney you would want on your side for you and your family.
"I have had the privilege of working with Robert for many years (before Hurricane Katrina) as an Associate Attorney and then a Partner. Robert is an outstanding bankruptcy attorney and person. Recognized by his peers, he is brilliant and has a depth of knowledge and experience most bankruptcy attorneys never achieve. Whether a simple consumer case or complex business matter, Robert handles each case with compassion and is fearless in the fight to protect his clients' rights. He has the highest ethics and keenly focuses on what is best for his client. His reputation as the best bankruptcy lawyer in the state of Mississippi is well deserved."
"I endorse this lawyer. Robert taught me what I know and always has his client's best interest when he works for them."
"I endorse this lawyer. His commentary is insightful. All sorts of unexpected consequences can follow from trying to file a bankruptcy without a lawyer, and he is not afraid to point out that there is folly in that."
"Over the past several years, I have read many of Mr. Gambrell's answers to questions posted on AVVO. I found his answers to be accurate, very thorough and evidence of his knowledge of the subject. I endorse this lawyer."
"I endorse Mr. Gambrell. I have read Mr. Gambrell's responses to Avvo questioners with great interest. His responses are always thoughtful, on point and demonstrate his clear understanding of the law. The Avvo users and attorneys, as well as, his clients in Mississippi are very fortunate to have him."
"I endorse Robert. He is an active attorney on Avvo who provides reasonable and knowledgeable advice to clients and the Avvo community."
"I endorse this lawyer. Why. Anyone reading his legal answers to the questions posed knows why! He answer fully and knowledgeable and takes the time to completely answer in detail as if he has no time limit until he completes his answer. I always read his answers as they are accurate. Avvo and the persons asking questions on AVVO are lucky to have such an attorney on here, but more important his clients in his state should feel assured they are in great hands!"
"I endorse Mr. Gambrell wholeheartedly. His knowledge and experience are evident in his thorough, detailed, and very helpful answers to questions posted all over the country. While some attorneys appear to almost copy and paste a brief and sometimes off-point answers, Mr. Gambrell actually treats each question with the attention to detail you'd expect of a good attorney whose being paid for the advice given. If you're fortunate to live within the reach of his firm, and you're considering bankruptcy, do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with him. No second opinion will be necessary."
"I endorse Robert W. Gambrell with great pleasure. Robert is brilliant & compassionate. Bankruptcy is extremely complex; it is not a matter of simply filling out forms. And very significantly, all bankruptcy lawyers are NOT the same and it is critical for any client to get the most experienced lawyer to ensure a successful bankruptcy and discharge of debts. The best bankruptcy attorney is one who (a) understands the Bankruptcy Code, (b) understands Congressional intent underlying the Bankruptcy Code, (c) has years of practice & is respected by the bankruptcy trustees; (d) patiently listens & understands the client's personal circumstances, (e) analyzes client facts and then suggests and implements a strategy for such client's success ; (f) makes sure that such client feels secure; and g) is trustworthy and a nice human being who is enthusiastic Robert Gambrell is all of that and more. Thank you Robert Gambrell for being the most amazing bankruptcy lawyer Best Barbie D. Lieber"
