Hiring Jason Whatley is the worst choice I could have made. He dragged my case out for 3 years, fleeced me for over $22,000, told me he could get me out of paying child support for my disabled daughter even though I had no legal grounds, embarrassed himself in front of TWO Williamson County judges be...cause he was glaringly unprepared, and more. I have no idea where he put my $22,000+ because it was definitely not hours he spent on my case. In the end, I had to pay my ex-wife’s attorney’s fees. Get someone else. ANYone else.

My wife and I had hired several attorneys before finding Mr. Cory Ricci. All previous attorneys we had done business with in regards to our custody case were horrible. They were unprepared, un responsive and very unprofessional. To say we felt robbed was an understatement. Then enters Mr. Ricci, from... the moment we consulted with him we could tell he was different. He was very compassionate to our concerns, to our case. He was very professional the entire time we worked with him. Never was he unprepared for a court appearance or a meeting with us. Not once did he ignore us or make us feel like we weren’t important. He was very responsive to every communication we had with him. He explained every step in detail in a way we could understand. He made us feel like we were his only client. Even though he was very busy. The kindness and compassion be showed not only my wife and I, but also our children was second to none. He showed us the love of Christ in our entire case. I highly recommend!

Jason is a great lawyer and he is extremely knowledgeable in the law. He is unbelievable on point in court. He does a great job at painting the truth for everyone to see. He has many years of experience which shows in his strategy. He is a very honest lawyer. He did not try to be underhanded, he was ...always very upfront. He was my 2nd lawyer, as my first did an awful job. My case was one of the most unusual cases, probably ever. And that is putting it mildly. He worked tirelessly on my case to correct the injustices that were previously done. The intricate details that surrounded my case, I would not have trusted any other lawyer to do as well of a job as Jason did. Jason completely turned my case around. Jason did a great job through the process of explaining his reason, thinking, and legalities of what we were doing, why we were doing it, etc. His staff and he treated me like family. Jason is an extremely busy lawyer; for reason, hes amazing at what he does. I truly believe that if I had any other counsel, my case would not have been as successful as it was. In fact, it originally was not until I retained him. I have never seen a lawyer who truly cares about doing what is right; more than Jason. He is not about doing underhanded things just to win a case. And he will fight for what truly is the best interest. He is not going to do something that would intentionally harm the individuals involved in the case just for the sake of winning. He cares about justice. He is a man of integrity, and that truly shows in his practice.

Jason and Cory took on my divorce and child custody case after two previous attorneys pillaged $60k from me and left me high and dry less than 30 days before the first trial date. My court battle lasted roughly 3-1/2 years. Jason and Cory took over about 1-1/2 years into it. I know a lot of atto...rneys. Of all of them, there are only 3 whom I would even allow into my house and that is NOT hyperbole. Jason and Cory are two of them. In my first or second meeting with Jason, he looked me square in the eye and told me that if I lied to him he would no longer represent me. If you are seeking an attorney who will stand up for you, not allow you to get abused by the court or opposing counsel, who knows not only the current laws but also a wealth of case law, then you need to hire Jason or Cory. Or, if your case is seemingly an impossible obstacle to overcome, as mine was, then hire them both to work together on your behalf. I have lived my life in such a way as to not need to look over my shoulder because of how I have treated others. I sleep well at night, every night, with a clear conscience. After spending countless hours with Jason and Cory, poring over details and facts and years with them in courts, my conscience is still entirely clear because I know we fought hard and we fought completely clean. I am a follower of Jesus and how I treat others is paramount to who I am. Not only do Jason and Cory refuse to engage in dirty fighting but also stand as two guardrails to bounce you back into the lane of ethical and healthy perspective when you get lost in the emotional chaos of a court battle. I went through the hardest years of my life to this point with Jason and Cory running point for me. To force the truth of my case through the avalanche of lies and bias, under which my case had been buried by opposing counsel (an exceedingly unethical ambulance chaser of an attorney out of Nashville), required tenacity, logistical prowess, tremendous knowledge of the law, and, most importantly, an attorney who practiced law because of a driven passion for preventing and correcting injustice. And that is precisely what Jason and Cory brought to the table and the courtrooms on my behalf. Jason and Cory tirelessly conquered unjust obstacles on my behalf for over two years so that, in my opinion, we could force the court to deal with only the bare naked truth of the facts of my case instead of recklessly ruling against me based on a litany of utterly false allegations. Jason and Cory tenaciously proved false allegations to be false and forced the truth to the surface and, in so doing, they won me primary custody of my children. My court battles are behind me now. My children and I are back on our feet now. Without Jason and Cory, that would not have happened. To this day I trust them both without question and am proud to call them my friends.

A police officer friend of mine referred Jason to me when I called him at my rock bottom and asked for the best attorney in the area. After the first meeting I had not one hesitation about hiring Jason to represent me. My case was important to me & I wanted someone who cared about me and not just a... paycheck. Jason and his staff were always courteous & never once treated me like I was incompetent by asking legal questions. Jason understood that I didn't have a law degree and was always respectful and patient when explaining things. He assured me that he would do his best to represent me and would always be honest about my options. I can honestly say that I know God put Jason in my path to help me and represent me. He took care of me and I will always be thankful of everything he and his staff did for me. I would highly recommend him. I can not speak for the other negative reviews on this page, but I can say I never saw a hint of any of the issues these "anonymous" people are reporting.
