Larry A. Weissman

I've known and used Larry since 1975 when I was a mortgage Banker and he handled all of our RealEstate Closings for at least 20 years and I left to go into business for myself. Larry still represents me till this day and will continue until I'm gone because Larry has more experience than anyone I kno...w about Real Estate law. Larry doesn't know I'm writing this but Larry has a heart of Gold and is very sincere and wonts to help people in need of help, not for the money as much as he enjoys helping people. Larry's only problem is he tries to do more than he can handle sometimes because he never turns anyone away when he knows his wagon is loaded. But he will deliver what he promises if you don't turn on him and get mad and say things you will regret. I know Larry he is a good man but he is better Qualified and Honest than anyone I know he can't turn someone away that needs help and he knows he can help them and Sometimes take on more work than he can handle on a timely bases.

This lawyer took my money and never worked on my case. A year and a month later - nothing was done. My case was even dismissed because he neglected to take care of it. It was sitting for 8 months until I told him that I’ll file a complaint , that’s when he called me. A year passed and still nothing w...as done, no refund issued either even after I asked him to just refund me and release me as a client. He even made me go to court several times and there wasn’t even a court date scheduled for me . He does not value his clients and thinks he can waste their time only because he is more valuable than them. This lawyer should never practice at all. He is so irresponsible . Do not hire this lawyer if I were you. He is a scam . He took my money and left my case the way it is. All work done to/ with my case was all my work and nothing proceeded after my filing. He refiled it after it was dismissed because he sat on it for almost a year. The initial filing was my work doing. After that- it’s still there and nothing was done to it . This lawyer is irresponsible and incompetent . Do not hire him!!

I called Mr. Weissman about transferring the family property of my deceased parents. I've been researching online the proper procedures to transfer the property from 5 siblings to just me. I'd read so much, I've confused myself. The call to Mr. Weissman, put all my fears to rest and his advice elimin...ated a ton of paperwork I'd pulled off the internet. Thank you for helping me during this difficult time.

He told me a specific settlement I would be getting, but when I got to the table with him everything change. Amount of my settlement drop a lot. Then he try to explain that other fees came about. When you not knowledgeable on certain things people will take advantage of you and that's what he did. He... might be in the business for a long time but that don't mean you honest and know your job. I wouldn't recommend
