Felicia Corbin Johnson

I hired Mrs Johnson to represent me in my divorce and support cases in July of 2011. The day of my support hearing I see her at the court house and she asks what I'm doing there. She was there for another case in a different court room. During a recess in that court she found her way to the court roo...m I was in only to be called away a short time later. When she finally returned I was hit with child support of $956 a month and $300 a month alimony. After that she wanted me to pay her another $750 to appeal it. In our discussion on me not being able to afford that and survive she told me that I made over $60000 a year so she did not feel sorry for me. She (Mrs Johnson), my ex, and my ex's attorney got what they wanted. I lost my home of 16 years and my ex moved from the house she lived in, in Cordova (that she claimed she couldn't pay her bills at) to one twice that size in Oakland that cost $170,000+.

Attorney Corbin-Johnson has yet to return any of my phone calls (I've been trying to reach her since April). She did not make me aware of how she was handling my case, but continuously asked for money to pay for court appearances. She even had Ms. Greenlaw to contact me the day of and a few hours bef...ore one of my scheduled court dates. I am very disappointed as she came highly recommended by a good friend.

Felicia Corbin Johnson is an extremely unorganized and unprofessional lawyer. She was my divorce lawyer who I never got the chance to meet. She stood me up 3 times when we were scheduled to meet. It is her employees that are the legal know how in this office. I have watched her in court and have obse...rved the judge reprimand her for lateness and her unprofessionalism. Thank god my divorce only required paper work to be mailed to another county or I would have still been fighting for a divorce.
