I went through the green card process with my wife. My wife, at the time finance, and I met with Valerie and Valerie explained the green card process to us. We decided we would give her a shot and she blew us away. She put together a packet for USCIS that was several hundred pages long which included... things that I would have never thought of. On top of that, she was always available (even late at night), but like every other person on this planet, she likes to take vacations and relax so there may be times when you may not be able to reach her. That being said, while she was on vacation, I never had an issue speaking with her when she was available and had reception. If she ever missed a phone call, I received a phone call back in a timely manner (usually within a few minutes). From start to finish, it probably took 3-4 months to send our papers to USCIS and receive the green card in the mail. I'm not sure why the process went so fast, but I definitely attribute the speedy process to Valerie's understanding of what exactly the government wants to see and exactly how the government thinks so there will be no need for them to question anything you want to do. Any concern the government may have about you will be cleared up by the paperwork she puts together and submits. If you are unsure of who to go to, go to Valerie. She will take all of your worries away and get the job done.

I've never given an on line review, but people need to know just how good this attorney truly is. Everything she says is spot on! She represented my husband in a heavy medical marijuana case with the possibility of deportation (he's from the UK). Valerie is very educated on medical marijuana. The...re were other attorneys defending other defendants in this matter that were constantly being scolded by the judge, wearing their fancy suits, but really didn't know the laws. Valerie looked like a shining star! Everything played out exactly as she said it would, she constantly kept us informed, showed up for every hearing and was never late. She ALWAYS answered our calls and sometimes it was just for a little "hand holding" or reassurance. She was vigilant about trying to work with the other defense attorneys, even though they refused to work with her. I'm so glad she didn't depend on them for anything and forged forward with her own defense. She doesn't judge and will make you feel like she's a regular Joe, but she's actually a bad ass attorney. In the end, she was able to negotiate with the DA for exactly what we wanted. Be aware when selecting an attorney that some will over charge and try to act like they are the all knowing, when in actuality they don't have a clue and can railroad you! With Valerie you can feel confident she will have your best interest and is able to produce!!
