My wife and I were searching for a good immigration lawyer after having some difficulties getting a previously lawyer we hired to start working on our case. After a bit of a hostile experience with the other lawyer, which we won't get into, my wife was able to find Valerie. I was lucky she did. Valer...ie was intelligent and responsive. They worked on our case in a timely manner while also being available to answer our specific questions regarding our case. Bryan was always highly responsive to us and helped direct us throughout this process. I just received my green card this past week and look forward to working with them in the future with my Citizenship and green card renewal.

We needed Valerie to hold our hands and to walk us through my spouse’s change of immigration status. Valerie clearly outlined for us which immigration forms n...eeded to be filed and when, which forms could be filed together and separately (or later on in the process), what her retainer cost and what the filing fees with USCIS cost depending on how and when you file the forms. She was also very clear about which pieces of evidence needed to be included with which type immigration form filing without wasting any time. She and her office manager are very quick to return emails and calls whenever we had questions or concerns. We never had to ask ourselves, “where is our lawyer?” or “where is she with the handling of our case?” She provides coaching for immigration interviews including how to navigate the emotional impact of the process. My spouse has been approved for a Green Card. Valerie’s retainer may be higher than other immigration attorneys, but she gets the job done and does so in a timely manner.

I've never given an on line review, but people need to know just how good this attorney truly is. Everything she says is spot on! She represented my husband in a heavy medical marijuana case with the possibility of deportation (he's from the UK). Valerie is very educated on medical marijuana. The...re were other attorneys defending other defendants in this matter that were constantly being scolded by the judge, wearing their fancy suits, but really didn't know the laws. Valerie looked like a shining star! Everything played out exactly as she said it would, she constantly kept us informed, showed up for every hearing and was never late. She ALWAYS answered our calls and sometimes it was just for a little "hand holding" or reassurance. She was vigilant about trying to work with the other defense attorneys, even though they refused to work with her. I'm so glad she didn't depend on them for anything and forged forward with her own defense. She doesn't judge and will make you feel like she's a regular Joe, but she's actually a bad ass attorney. In the end, she was able to negotiate with the DA for exactly what we wanted. Be aware when selecting an attorney that some will over charge and try to act like they are the all knowing, when in actuality they don't have a clue and can railroad you! With Valerie you can feel confident she will have your best interest and is able to produce!!
