I was looking for an immigration attorney to help with my husbands case. The few I talked to couldn’t help me. I finally found Ryan and after we discussed the process, timeline and money it would take to get him here I knew we had found the right attorney. . He was always straightforward with both o...f us and always stayed in contact with us to let us know what was going on and what to expect. He answered emails fast and professional and his office were amazing to work with. . I would recommend Ryan 100% for any immigration needs.

Amazing guy to work with

Ryan is a gem of a person to work with. Ryan had come to my help twice for immigration related matters. I had a complicated immigration case to handle and I requested Ryan's help to send a response for immigration RFE for my OPT in 2018. Ryan took a reasonable flat rate to prepare a response with all... the documents that was very convincing to the officers. I got my case approved the next day. Earlier this year in 2019, I again retained Ryan to help with my Green card AOS application and he broke down and explained to me the entire process and what to expect. He is very procedural and gave us a checklist of documents to submit and we did it. He gave me a nice discount because i retained his service for the second time and he quoted us a very reasonable price for his service. The overall process went very smooth and we did not receive any RFE's from USCIS which i am very impressed with and got our interview scheduled in 4 months from the application date. The adjustment interview went very well and Ryan arrived ahead of the schedule and stayed with us the whole time and answered some of the questions that came up on the new public charge rule as well other documents that the officer was looking for. We had our case approved on the spot. Right from the beginning, Ryan gave me the confidence on our case which we liked. Ryan has always been very thoughtful on answering any of our questions and very prompt. I highly recommend Ryan for anyone who is looking for an attorney who is professional and know's his stuff and very nice to work on any immigration related matters.

Great at communicating, great at his job, and compassionate

My family member was picked up by ICE right before our interview for Adjustment of Status and I was extremely stressed over the situation and hired Mr. Spickard. He took the case, helped get them get released from custody, and helped obtain a Permanent Resident Card. He and his assistant were AMAZING... at communicating with me about the case. They both answered questions patiently even if I had previously asked the questions. They called, left voicemails when they were unable to reach me, and even sent email reminders on paperwork that we should send. He communicated every step of the way and I could tell that he truly cared. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Ryan was a part of our miracle, and we will always be grateful we had him as our gladiator.

Meeting - Ryan Spickard has been the most considerate, trustworthy, and highly motivated lawyer I have ever worked with. I came to him with what seemed like and impossible case. What I liked most about Ryan during our first meeting is he wasn’t trying to convince us to hire him. He listened to all th...e details of our case, asked many questions, and took notes. He then gave us a break down of all possible outcomes, good and bad. He insured me that he would do everything in his power to pursue the best-case scenario. Before visiting with Ryan, we were turned away by many lawyers because of the negative factors in our case. Initially my husband was applying for cancellation of removal based on his US citizen daughter (not mutual) under another firm. We worked with this firm for two years until they pulled out of our case 3 days before his individual hearing. The reason for the withdrawal was that his US citizen daughter was adopted and not biological disqualifying him for COR. The question of his daughter’s paternity never came up in any of our meetings and we didn’t think it was important, as my husband raised his daughter from birth. We immediately married (in removal proceedings), and began our search for the right lawyer. Ryan’s Proposal: 1) File for a motion to continue so we would have time to prepare our case based on our new situation. 2) File an I-130 to bonify our marriage. 3) My husband would need to attend and complete as many rehabilitation functions as possible. 4) I would need to start seeing a therapist and gather as much evidence of my hardships as possible. 5) After getting the I-30 approval, pursue administrative closure on my husband’s case. We were granted a second motion to continue of 6 months. During this time Ryan guided me through the I-130 and gave me a detailed list of evidence to collect. I fell pregnant in during our case. I became a physical wreck as I am a student in college. How would I make it through college without a husband and raise a child at the same time? I began catastrophizing our entire case. Upon an emotional breakdown, I called Ryan and he was nothing but considerate, and supportive. Due to my stress and anxiety of the impending deportation of my husband I eventually miscarried. I became depressed. Everything was going wrong. I began frantically emailing Ryan with questions. He politely and diligently replied to all of emails and phone calls. Outcome 6 months was quickly approaching and still no response on our I-130. Ryan decided the best thing to do was to prepare a packet to be submitted to the judge. This packet would be used to humanize our case to the judge. The packet included include photos of my husband and I, letters (from us, family, therapist, church), I-30 evidence, and rehabilitation efforts. Still no response from the judge we prepared for the court hearing. Ryan filled me in on all the details of the court the morning of our hearing as has many relationships with the judges, and other members of the court in Memphis. During our hearing the judge asked if our prime relief was the cancellation of removal application in which our lawyer replied it was not. COR is very risky and requires more hardship than 601 cases. The judge however seemed to be in a good mood and asked that we proceed the hearing with the COR application with myself being the qualifying US citizen. Ryan advised that we move forth with the hearing and try our chances. Even the application was denied we could still apply for 601. The only evidence we had was from the packet and testimonies provided by my husband and me. During our testimony he asked many questions that highlighted our hardships. I was amazed by how many details he knew of our case. After the testimonies the judge asked the prosecuting attorney (a prosecuting attorney known for opposing everything) her stance. The prosecuting attorney did not oppose, and the judge granted our application.
