Brennan Patrick Lenihan

Mr. Lenihan was hired to represent me in two legal matters. He was repeatedly unresponsive to texts, emails and phone calls regarding questions about my cases. When I did receive answers, they were vague at best. Then here is the kicker and the best part, 7 days before my court date he decides to rem...ove himself as my counsel by sending a letter to my office, which I don’t go to every day, not my home! Leaving me to scramble to find a new attorney before my court date in 7 days! I would NOT recommend him. You should have an attorney who is responsive and reliable.

Hired to represent me in a custody suite against an abusive father, lied repeatedly, did not inform me of deadlines by opposing counsel or court dates. Had meeting with opposing counsel and made decisions without informing me or getting my consent. Lied about judges ruling, does not respond to emails... or phone calls. When he does answer he is vague and unprepared. Terrible decision to hire him, had to spend double to hire another lawyer who did in one day what he couldn’t do in 6 months.

I retained this attorney for a divorce case. The biggest mistake of my life. He was terrible in every way about my case. He did not return phone calls, texts, or emails. He was always unprepared for court dates. He lied to me many times. He had no interest in my case what so ever. He failed to file ...documents on time and at times did not file documents at all. My last two court dates I had to appear by myself and represent myself. A nightmare to say the least.

Brennan Lenihan was the lawyer I hired in a child custody case. WORSE MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! I hired him in June 2013. it is now Dec 2013 almost jan 2014 and I have not talked to him in 6 + weeks! I have left texts, emails, messages with his office and secretary, still no response. he drew up a petition... in Oct, well I called the court house this morning and its never been filed. so from june til oct, all he managed to accomplish was to have his secretary to write up a petition I had to call for 2 weeks because I was told it got mailed to me, never got it and still haven't received it. so his secretary emailed it to me. sent it back to him the first week in November.....still hasn't been filed. his secretary has no idea why that is. he hasn't returned my phone calls. plus I was suppose to get papers on a contract that he was hired and fill it out on what the terms where etc. still haven't gotten those. all I have from his office is a receipt for the money I use to "hire" him and still in 6 months haven't gotten anywhere! so basically he took my money and ran! he is the worse lawyer ive ever seen.

I used him as a divorce attorney and he's horrible. I approached him with a concern that I wanted taken care of before it was finalized. He didn't acknowledge the matter so I had to go back to court. He had the nerve to talk to me about setting up a payment plan for the charges I owed him. I paid you... your flat rate for a divorce so it's not my fault you couldn't do your job. He also changed offices and didn't inform me while he was my active attorney!!!!!
