At the age of 29 I have rented my fair share of apartments. Never once did I have an issue with my landlord/apartment management. When moving back to Tennessee, I chose to rent a house. I lived at this house for a year and a half. I was never late on rent, and I maintained the house in very good ...order. Upon vacating the house after the lease term had ended, the landlord chose to try and take advantage of me and my financial situation by refusing to return any of my security deposit and to further charge me for damages that were completely unfounded. I feel that the case was settled in my favor and to the best of my satisfaction given the nature of the situation.
