Child school attendance issue

Mr. Boyd fought hard for my daughter and I to ensure that she got proper treatment from her maternal family, including proper attendance at school. His services are expensive, but he and his assistant did not waste time/the retainer fee I paid and got satisfactory results. The cover system is very... slow, but he and Ms. Jennifer always kept me informed, while being compassionate in this difficult time.

Do not hire!!!!

I choose Mr.Boyd as my lawyer for two reasons because he is a Marine and fellow biker. I have the utmost respect from him being a Marine although not so much as a lawyer. He is not an inexpensive lawyer by far and I was not looking for inexpensive lawyer although the money I paid to him, which was a ...sufficient amount I do not feel like I got my money worth. During his time as my lawyer, I was not informed for a length of time on status of my divorce as one of his team members left the office although I understand employees leave but does not excuse the rest of the staff to not contact me and let me know the status of my case. Also during that time I was never notified that my original retainer amount was exhausted and that I had an outstanding balance that was due and that was first time I was notified again was when there is a balance due and never when I ask about update on my case. When I was notified I had to pay new balance that he ran up without notifying me at all within that same day! With that being said I had a choice to pay him the additional amount that I never knew about he ran up and then release him of his duties or start all over again with a new lawyer. I decided to pay him the balance and then he ask for more money to continue the case which I paid since we were this far along instead of having to start over with a new lawyer, figure this was better choice of my two options. In conclusion I feel like he never fought for me at all as I had to pay good amount of lump sum to my ex-wife now and he just took the easy way out by settling with her lawyer as he got paid the same matter what the outcome was. In my opinion he cost me a lot of money for his fees and the amount I had to pay to my ex-wife. If I had to do it all over again I would choose a different lawyer that is going to fight for you instead of just settling.

REVIEW

I hired David to take care of my personal injury case. I was hit by a drunk driver while I was on my motorcycle. I found David through steel horse law. My first impressions were of utter disgust. When I walked into his office. I noticed that he had hired what appeared to be ex strippers as his secre...tary. I greated the secretary and took a seat in his office. About fourty five minutes later I was taken back to his office. After sitting down and talking with him for five minutes about my case. I heard more F-bombs from him than heard in my entire life. I asked him if there was a fee for my consultation and he said no. We went on with our conversation about my wreck. He proceed to tell me that he was not interested in my case because he didn't know how much the other guys insurance was worth.

Attorney David Boyd here. This review is absolutely outlandish and even though it is old, it just came to my attention and it deserves a response. Examine first of all, the anonymous author. He claims to be a "biker", but he is not genuine biker. He claims that he encountered more vulgarity from me within 5 minutes than he had encountered during his entire life. He then ridicules and degrades my staff by comparing their appearance to that of a stripper. The bikers i know do not behave in such a manner. I am a biker, and have been one long before I began practicing law. The bikers I know are genuine, hard working individuals, who respect one another and themselves. They stand up for what's right even if it is not popular, regardless of their race, gender, or religion. They do not go around posting anonymous reviews while degrading others. The idea that this review was written by a genuine biker is offensive. Now examine the basic premise of the post, that I rejected his case and refused to go after a drunk driver who hit him while he was on his bike. One thing I consistently fight hard to overcome is the prejudice that bikers are operating their bikes while drunk, high on drugs, or recklessly. I take great pride in aggressively handling motorcycle wreck cases for bikers, and i combat these prejudices with every case. When a biker is hit by a drunk driver, I go after both the driver of the vehicle and the bar where the driver became intoxicated. The reason? To maximize the money for the biker - pure and simple. I do not know who wrote this anonymous review, but I know it was not a genuine biker. The bottom line is that you will not find a more aggressive attorney to handle a motorcycle wreck. Period. If you have been injured while on your bike I invite you to contact me for a consultation; (865) 246-1800. See for yourself the difference an aggressive lawyer will make on your case.

Dedicated Lawyer for your case

I hired David Boyd for a divorce case involving my husband. My husband was unfaithful to me and even though i saw text messages between him and his girlfriend, he denied it. Mr. Boyd used phone records to expose my husbands affair and lies. After the deposition, my ex begged to settle the case a...nd dropped his demands for full custody of our son. Mr. Boyd and his staff kept me informed the process and i am very happy with the outcome. I would recommend David Boyd to anyone going through a divorce.
