Danny Carol Garland II

Danny Garland is hands down the best attorney in Knoxville! With nearly 30 years of experience, he knows the law inside and out, and elegantly outwitted our opposition every time. I witnessed first-hand his positive rapport with local judges and other attorneys in town for being knowledgeable, ethica...l, and tireless in his pursuit of justice. Danny and his paralegal, Carolyn, work seamlessly as a team to ensure i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed on the mountain of paperwork required throughout the process. This included staying on top of petitions, counter-petitions, multiple contempt violations, hearings, depositions, interrogatories, and countless records entered as evidence during the trial. They both went far above and beyond my expectations in helping me to obtain a favorable outcome for both custody and child support. I truly became friends with both of them throughout the nearly year-long court battle in a very high-conflict co-parenting situation. My daughter’s father hired an extremely aggressive lawyer, and together they used every trick in the book to attempt to intimidate and bully me into submission. Danny encouraged me not to back down and gave me the confidence to keep fighting for what was best for her. Danny and Carolyn had my back unconditionally, coaching me through every step with empathy and patience. I now have the parenting time I will need to try and undo the trauma that has been inflicted upon her. As my review hopefully demonstrates, I cannot recommend Danny enough.

Don't look any further when searching for a Divorce/Child Custody/Child Support attorney. Stop with Mr. Garland and you'll be happy you did. He's knows the law, he knows the court system, he knows the people, he knows his clients, and he helped my wife and I get through very difficult situations with... child support and child custody issues. You will get positive results, sometimes better than you thought possible. Other attorneys don't like being on the opposite side of the table, whether in the courtroom or in mitigation, and once you see Mr. Garland in action, you'll understand why. I once saw him put two people in jail in just one court session. Know that Mr. Garland is aggressive and will fight for you and your legal rights above and beyond what you would expect from an attorney.

Danny was my attorney for two separate cases, one was a divorce (which also included having to file an order of protection) and the other was to make changes to an outdated parenting plan. Both cases involved dealing with an ex, who's very strong willed and aggressive, as well as prone to bullying me... to get what he wants. Danny did not allow that to happen within the realm of my case and kept me informed of my rights as well as what was going on the in legal process so that I could remain ahead of the game and in control of the situation. Danny is a brilliant lawyer, willing to go as far as necessary within the law to achieve the desired outcome both on legal documents and in court. Additionally, he also was attentive and listened to what I had to say about the course of action we were pursuing and took into consideration my comfort level as it pertained to what results we were going after. He prevented me from getting run over/taken advantage of by my ex and in the end, achieved a fair and reasonable outcome for me and for my children. I highly recommend Danny Garland, he is a true champion of the underdog as well as those who are oppressed by their circumstances.

I thought he was a very strong lawyer . He has a very big voice in court . Has very littel bed side manner . BUT !! I did not need a kiss . I just needed some one to get my boys back for me . He did just that . Went to court 4 times and He won our case every time . (1) was OOP (1) was abuse case... (2) was custity case . and she keep me from seeing my boys for over 8 months. I GOT THEM BACK This was in a small town out off knoxville . I felt like the whole town was against me. Her and her mother is a school teacher .They knew all the judges in town and she had the best lawyer in town. So i new i had to reach out. I was scared of this all but Danny did not care he voiced his opionen and got the job done . I would recommend him for any job . and I would use him again if needed.
