A calm voice in a raging legal storm

When DCS came knocking, I knew there was no way I'd be able to keep my calm if I tried dealing with their case workers personally. I needed to lawyer up before I showed up, and that's why I hired Danny Garland. He was zealous and effective through every step of the process. He listened to my conc...erns and my wife's, always kept us informed, and managed to deescalate the situation to where my family wasn't torn apart. If you get word DCS is out to tear up your family, don't talk to them at all until you've hired Danny Garland. Your family will be safer for it.

Solid Representation

Danny assisted us with visitation and setting up a parenting plan. He was aggressive and through with our case. He will take the time to be sure that you understand exactly what's happening, the next steps, and any options.

Top Child Custody Attorney in Knoxville

If it was not for Danny I would not have full custody of my daughter. I was an unwed father fighting for custody of my daughter. I hired a very large law firm in Knoxville to handle my case. After almost 2 years of long drawn out court battles, I was told that I would not get full custody and should ...settle out of court for visitation. I fired that firm and hired Danny Garland on the advice of a friend who had used him to obtain custody of his daughter. Danny fought hard against one of the best child custody attorney's in Knoxville that tried to pull every trick in the book. Ultimately, it was Danny who had them settling out of court, awarding me full custody! Hiring him was the best decision I could have made for myself and my family.

Do not trust this attorney

I retained him for a sensitive family matter and he definitely led me down the wrong path. He gave bad advice and representation and is not looked upon favorably in the court.
