All around best attorney

I interviewed several lawyers before deciding to retain Layne. Most of the lawyers I met treated me like I was a number. Just money in their pocket. At the consultation, Layne sat down with me herself and explained all my options—-even the ones that wouldn’t make her money. She clearly explaine...d everything in a way that we both understood it. There is no doubt that she knows the law. I was impressed when we went to court. The other attorneys sat there not saying a word and just let their clients talk. Layne guided us through the process and made sure our rights were protected. If you need an experienced bankruptcy attorney, call Layne. You won’t be disappointed.

Great Lawyer

I hired Layne to help me settle a judgement with a credit card place. I had tried for months myself and had no luck. Only a week after I hired Layne, she had it done! I only had to pay back part of the judgement. She is worth every penny.

Professional, Friendly, Knowledgeable, and Reassuring

I found Layne on Avvo, and after reading her Q&A's and reviews I decided to call her. She was so nice! She has a very laid back and funny personality. She didn't rush me into anything. Actually, I didn't sign anything until a week after we met. Between signing the paperwork and court I'd say I pro...bably emailed her fifty times, and she never acted annoyed by that. She was totally cool with my repetitive questions, no matter how simple, and she was very quick to respond. During court she paid close attention to how I looked to be handling it, and a few times she walked to the hall with me to see how I was feeling and to reassure me that everything was going to be okay. At the end of it all, I felt so relieved. Everything went smoothly thanks to her. I left feeling as though I had a friend who's also an amazing legal professional. If I ever have to do this again for some reason, I know who I will be coming to!

Very Knowledgeable in her field

This was our third attorney and second bankruptcy. So much was wrong with the first one they dropped the ball on us we were just a paycheck to them. With Mrs. Gillespie's things were different from the start she goes that extra mile. We meant something to her more than a paycheck. She found things ou...t that never should have happened in the first place. If we would have found her first we would not going to bankruptcy court again i just we had heard of sooner. We would refer her to our family and friends anytime. Please don't waste your money going else believe us when we say she can save you money and do things right the first time. It also helps that she is very like able person.
