I engaged Charlie Wheland in January 2020. Though I was the Plaintiff, my husband at-the-time agreed to work with Charlie as well, with no other attorney representing him, to reach an equitable settlement. Charlie was well able to keep this potential train wreck from rolling off the tracks, and after... an unavoidable delay, we had our call with the court on September 1st,, answered a few questions, and my 42-year marriage was over. During the extended period of time between filing and ruling - ensuring our bankruptcy was discharged - Charlie and his assistant checked in periodically to make sure I was okay, and that there was no conflict during this waiting period.
