Lisa Zarzour Bowman

Lisa was retained for our family's custody trial last year and was simply amazing. She is a real go-getter who has a huge heart for the families she represents especially the children. She never made any promises except she would do her best and she was the only attorney who was able to get us the r...esults we had been fighting for. If you're looking for an attorney who will go to battle for you- Mrs. Bowman is one of the very few attorneys in our area that actually knows law and how to present cases! Her staff although small, are just as competent and compassionate as her and they are always on top of what needs to get done. If ever we need legal representation again, she will be our only choice!

Lisa Bowman has done nothing to help me at all. She has not fought for me and my children and my small children are in a very bad, dangerous situation. Frankly the only thing I think she cares about is getting her money! My soon-to-be ex has been in contempt so many times and she did nothing about it...! There are so many things that she was supposed to do and she didn't do them. We found out that the reason the other side keeps winning is because my soon-to-be ex's attorney is friends and drinking buddies with the judge on this case! What has Lisa done about it?? NOTHING!! She rarely returns phone calls or replies to emails. Don't waste your money on this attorney!!!

I wish a warning was given before I paid her the retainer fee. I am stuck. I have paid more than I could afford for a divorce attorney, and have not had one thing resolved or presented in front of a judge. The day she took my check was about the last time I spoke to her. I have called and emailed onc...e or twice a week to get information about court dates and etc. with no returned calls or email. My divorce is being held hostage. Save your money and go elsewhere.

While she does seem knowledgeable regarding law, the positive qualities stop there. Lisa never returns phone calls or e-mails that are sent directly to her phone. Her office constantly changes paralegals. Paperwork never filed as is promised will be. You would be better off representing yourself.... She may have been top notch a few years ago (2011 and prior), but I wouldn't hire her to defend my parakeet at this point in time. Save your money and sanity, and find someone else. The reviewer talking about a payment plan is either lying or maybe went to Lisa on a very good day, because I did not have this option whatsoever - it was "pay in full now, or I can't help you." I will never use her again. To fully clarify, and summarize, I hired her as my defense in a divorce (non-contested), and she ceased all contact with me after I paid her up front for her services. I am now in a legal limbo, thanks entirely to her negligence, and will have to find a new attorney able to help me.
