My husband and I hired David for a custody dispute over my nephew. He was always kind, answered our questions appropriately, returned calls promptly and explained the complicated juvenile court system to us. I recommend him to all my friends in need of representation. Our case hasn't always gone as ...we would have liked but not because of David. When criminal charges were filed against my son for allegations I knew were false our world came unraveled. Although I have an attorney brother he does not practice in the Chattanooga area, nor is he familiar with Tennessee state law. He intervened immediately on my son’s behalf however we then had a... daunting task of hiring a local attorney. We talked to several attorneys. Some were not familiar with juvenile criminal law and the one who was charged an outrageous retainer let alone hourly fees. We initially used him because he had prior experience with the charges we were up against. We met David during our 1st trip to juvenile court and thankfully he had provided us with his card during our encounter. We followed up with David and immediately knew he was the right choice for our family. David was concerned about my son and his well-being during this ordeal (others seemed more concern with their payment). David was the 1st one to speak with my son which made him feel comfortable and optimistic. My son was unfortunately immediately assumed guilty because of the type of charges. No one truly seemed concerned about the truth. David actually cared. David was quick to respond to our questions and kept us well informed throughout the process. David shared all of the “evidence” being used by the prosecution so there were no surprises when we went to court. He prepped all of us for the possible outcomes and worked until the last minute asking the DA to review their own “evidence” which in and of itself proved my son was innocent. Through his diligent handling of the background work we were prepared when the trial day came. The DA had no case and after months of emotional ups and downs the case was dismissed. I cannot express in words how thankful we are that we met David that day in juvenile court. He took the time to speak with my son and believed he was innocent. David made no assumptions and actually worked to obtain the facts. Because if his hard work and dedication my son has his youth back. Thank you David!
