Excellent lawyer!

I hired Ben Raybin to help me with a gun/alcohol charge. He was successful in finding alternative classes for me to take, which ultimately led to the charges being dropped. He is very personable and goes above and beyond for his clients!

Restoration of Rights

Mr. Raybin took my case getting my restoration of rights from another state which was not being recognized in the current state I reside in recognized. Him and his team was very knowledgeable, prompt and efficient. The end results was a successful case and I thank Mr. Rabin for everything and would h...ighly recommend him and his firm to help anyone needing help with restoration of guns rights or any other legal matter.

A Pro!

I hired Ben to tackle a very large ordeal. I had an unlawful possession of a firearm - and at an airport. Double whammy. It was a complete goof on my part with zero intent. Ben took my case and got my record completely cleared which was the ultimate goal.

Illegal Weapons Charge

I have a concealed carry permit, with registered weapons and was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication along with an Illegal Weapons Charge due to the fact that I wouldn't give the arresting officer my handgun. I was in a local fast food restaurant and a friend of mine had a medical emergency... and the manager on duty called for what I thought was going to be help. First to arrive was a Nashville Metro Officer and the first question asked was "How bout you let me hold that gun?", polietly I responded "There is no need for you to take possesion of my handgun." as I was attending to my injured friend. I informed the officer I have an up to date permit and gave him the permit and ID. Goes to his car, runs my information and comes back with another officer. Everything checks fine yet they still insist I give them my weapon, told them it is my Constitutional Right to posess and carry my REGISTERED firearm and there was no need for them to hold my weapon. Cuffs, and a car ride followed. The next day I researched the internet for Nashvilles best Criminal Defense Attorney and Mr. Raybin's name kept coming back at the top of the list. Contacted Mr. Raybin and informed him of my situation and he said he would be more than happy to do all he could for me. Upfront the first thing he did was research similar cases and informed me that getting my weapon returned was very doubtful. Went to first court apperance and Mr.Raybin had the best deal imaginable already accepted by the DA before the Judge even took the Bench, was still no garauntee on the return of the weapon he informed me. Not only did Mr. Raybin get ALL charges expunged with no court cost incurred, my weapon was also returned to me. This was the first time I had ever been in the Criminal Court system and Mr. Raybin was an invaluable asset to my case. He was honest, straight up with me and is definitely respected by everyone in the court room. I am no court system expert but I couldn't imagine this process going any smoother, faster and stress free due to Mr. Raybin's help. When he kept coming back as the best with the extensive research performed before hiring an attorney it was true. He was very professional, honest and prompt in keeping me updated on any changes in my case. He is truley the BEST.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
