You are going through a difficult, confusing time.
You have a lot of questions. Your world has been turned upside down.
What are you going to do with your finances? What is going to happen to your children? Where are you going to live? What are you going to do financially after the divorce?
You need an attorney you can trust will listen to you and understand you.
You need an attorney who has BEEN THERE HERSELF and also has years of experience in family law, who has handled many of these cases and can help you navigate your unique situation.
You don't want to spend thousands of dollars and not see results. You do not want to spend thousands of dollars on an attorney who does more harm than good.
Ms. Burdine offers free telephone consultations to give you the opportunity to kick the tires, to see if she is the right fit for you. It is important to talk to more than one attorney before you decide to hire one, to be sure that your attorney knows what she or he is doing, has your best interests in mind, and to ensure that your children (if applicable) will not be harmed during this process.
Attorney Hannah Burdine has nearly 20 years of experience in the legal industry, with more than ten years committed to divorce litigation including high net worth divorce cases and asset protection.
Not everyone needs a fighter. Ms. Burdine is diplomatic when appropriate, and she fights unyieldingly for clients when necessary. She devotes the time and attention that is required to garner positive results and to ensure her clients receive the attention they deserve during this time of their lives.
She has practiced family law in both the State of Georgia and now the State of Tennessee. She is a native of Memphis, Tennessee where she went to undergraduate school and law school. She was a paralegal in Nashville, Tennessee for a few years after undergraduate school before going to law school.
While going through her own divorce, she worked for a clinical research organization negotiating contracts for clinical drug trials. It was boring, and she missed the courtroom and engaging with and helping clients get through tough times, so after her divorce she got back into the practice of law.
She enjoys playing piano to decompress and listening to live music. She looks forward to helping you.

poor communicator
I hired her in April 2021. I explained to her how my previous attorney wouldn't communicate about my case, wouldn't return my calls or emails, and how she didn’t submit some documentation. She assured me to my face that day before I hired her that she would communicate with me. She even showed me in ...
Hello, I am sorry you are not a happy person. I know you are upset about the judge's ruling, but I told you by several text messages that morning that you needed to be in court that morning. I did not have an answer for you at 7:00 a.m. when you asked, because I had to wait for the Court to open up that morning to call and confirm whether the judge was holding hearings that morning due to the previous night's inclement weather. When I learned at 8:12 a.m. that morning from the Court that the judge was holding hearings, I immediately informed you multiple times. I then called you from the courthouse at 9:30 a.m. where it sounded like I woke you up. You then verbally assaulted me on the phone and I told you I can't represent people who verbally abuse me like that and informed you that I would be withdrawing from representing you, due to your failure to follow instructions as you agreed to in the Attorney/Client Agreement. I asked you to be there by at least 10:00 a.m. The judge called your case at 10:15 a.m. and you were not there, when everyone else was. Because you did not come, the judge struck your motion. There is no need to trash me on the internet because you didn't come to court that morning and the judge struck your motion. I hope your THIRD attorney can make you happy.
