Hannah C. Burdine

I originally reached out to Hannah through legal match in August 2021. We communicated a few times through email and then she stopped responding and answering calls. My issue wasn't time sensitive, so I wasn't too concerned about her not responding and just let everything go. Well things changed and ...a few days ago I found myself seeking legal advice with the intent on paying a retainer and getting the ball rolling after our initial consultation. Because now my issue is something that needs to be seen in court. Signed up for legal match again and sure enough Hannah was the first attorney to respond (or so I thought). Because I appreciated the urgency of acceptance I decided to give her firm another shot in hopes that maybe the instance in 2021 were one in a million. Boy was I wrong!! Hannah was the first attorney to accept and respond to my available interview times, requesting we meet at 10a. 10:05 came around and still no call or email. So I called her office. The receptionist answered, "Thank you for calling Boris....Burdine Law, how can we help you?" I told her that Hannah scheduled me for a 10a meeting and I hadn't heard anything, so I was wondering if I was supposed to call them. She stated, "no, she gets backed up sometimes and will give you a call as soon as possible. But I'll go ahead and let her know you are waiting." 2 minutes later I receive a phone call. This time from I'm assuming Hannah's legal aid. She asks my name and then tells me that, "Hannah can indeed take my case and that it would be a $1500 retainer. Would I like to go ahead and schedule a sit down with her?" I told her that I was supposed to be having an initial consultation and I haven't had that. She then told me, "Hannah's consultations are $150, would you like me to schedule it?" I then told her that, "the meeting at 10a that Hannah herself requested was supposed to be for a 15 minute free consultation and then after we decide if we're going further with services." She responds oh ok. At this point I had not even spoke to Hannah one time yet she had missed an appointment she scheduled, had someone else contact me about services, and had a receptionist that couldn't remember the name of the firm she was working for. So I told the lady on the phone that I was not interested in Hannah's services since she had not had the decency to contact me herself to see if we would even be a fit for the case, she had not given me any type of game plan or assurance that she would be the one to handle the matter, and all I kept hearing was about how much her fees were and pressure to hurry up and book services. So if you are someone who wants an attorney that cares and sees you as a person, not just a case number, DO NOT go with Hannah Burdine. I now have an attorney who took the time out to contact me directly and have already shown me that they are 1000% capable of handling my case, so I have no need to worry. And because of this, I had no problem paying their $2500 retainer and starting with their services!

I contacted Mrs. Pelham for my daughter and granddaughter when I realized my daughter was being bullied and controlled by the paternal grandparents. When my daughter would not do what the father or grandparents wanted they continued to threaten her in more ways then one. For any man or women to be ...in a controlling relationship is bad enough but when a child is involved makes this even worse. Whatever the case may be Mrs. Pelham has put my daughter at ease. My daughter is a young mother so this has been a very scary and overwhelming case as it can be at any age. Mrs. Pelham wants what is best for my grandchild and daughter and has continued to try to keep peace and mediation between both parties. Although in our case the other party hired a lawyer to continue to try and bully us through courts just as the ex spouse did in the relationship. Mrs. Pelham knows when the time is right to step in and say enough is enough. Mrs. Pelham continues to impress me with knowing the laws to put a stop to the things the other side continues to throw at my child. Some lawyers will tell you what you want to hear so you will continue to give them money as the case with my daughter's ex's attorney. This is sad and not good for anyone. Mrs. Pelham really cares for the clients she works with and will tell you exactly the truth as to what she can do for you. If you want a caring, honest, knowledgeable (knows the law) , attorney who will fight for you and your family I recommend Mrs. Pelham. You can tell Mrs. Pelham loves what she does. Whatever it is you need, Mrs. Pelham is there for you and your family and never makes false promises!! Mrs. Pelham has put me and my family at ease. As the grandmother and mother of Mrs. Pelham's client I highly recommend her as an attorney! Thank You So Much for helping my daughter get through this very intense time.

I couldn't have made a better choice for myself and my daughter. Mrs Pelham was always always there when I had a question and was very easy to reach despite her busy schedule. She always returned my emails and phone calls and was very easy to work with. She definitely knows what she is doing. She wo...uld tell me what I needed to bring and I would do my homework and she would present it in court in a professional manner. I don't have any negative remarks about my experience with her. Our case was difficult from the very beginning (statistically). My husband has two young boys from his first marriage and the biological mother had primary physical custody. Due to a major change in circumstances for the worse, my husband knew the boys would be better off living with us primarily and... allow the mother visitation rights and joint legal custody. This is not the easiest case to win. While Georgia has come a long way with father's rights, there can still be an imbalance at times. We hired Hannah Pelham to manage the case. There were numerous times over the course of the 9 month period of time, from when we hired her and when we finally went to court, that we became impatient. Hannah kept reassuring us that these things take time and encouraged us, as well as fought for us, to have a guardian ad litem assigned to the case. We did follow her instructions and trusted her advice. Hannah knew that in order to prove some of the claims we were making, an ad litem would be necessary. Needless to say, we finally went to court and won primary custody of my husband's two children. We are very pleased with the outcome. The slow pace of the judicial system can be frustrating, however, had we gone to court when we wanted to instead of waiting as Hannah advised, we probably would not have had the positive outcome we have today. Overall, Hannah really knew the law and what the best plan would be for us. We are pleased with our outcome with Hannah Pelham repre senting our case.
