Ann-Douglas Tycer has more than 25 years of experience representing Tennesseans applying for Social Security Disability benefits. She previously worked for Attorney William M. Stephens and developed one of the earliest law firms in Middle Tennessee dedicated to helping people overcome the challenges of a Social Security disability applications and appeals.

 

Ann has tried hundreds of Social Security appeals. She is a compassionate and zealous advocate. Ann’s commitment to her clients is based on her desire to pursue a legal career so that she could help everyday people. She understands that serious medical conditions can lead to life changing disabilities that affect the entire family.

 

Ann graduated from the Nashville School of Law in 1991. She has been in private practice, solely devoted to Social Security benefits and appeals since graduating from law school. She and Garrett have three adult children. Away from the office, Ann spends her time with her two cats and two dogs and in the garden.

Social security disability case
Best attorney ever. She took every call and returned every email. Explained everything in a manor in which I could understand. Sat down with me 2 weeks before my social security hearing and went thru medical records with and provided honest feedback. She wrote a brief for the judge the day of my hearing. She was well organized and ready to fight for me. I was made to feel like I was the most important person. Love her spunk and drive along with her big heart. Phenomenal
I’ve hired Ann Tycer to represent me in my fight for disability benefits after finding many recommendations for her, but even those did not do justice to her professionalism she gracefully applies while making you feel like a beloved family member. She has a way of connecting on a human level, you do not feel like just a client but a person she truly wants to help. She has taken the anxiety out of this difficult venture and that alone places her at 100 stars in my book!

The AMAZING Ms. Ann Tycer

Thanks to Ann Tycer, I was able to win my social security disability case before it went to a hearing. Mine was a rare win, since Trigeminal Neuralgia is not listed with social security, but Ann proved to be top notch. Goes Above and Beyond
Ann Tycer with Larry R. Williams Attorneys at Law is an absolute warrior when it comes to being an advocate for her clients. She represented me in obtaining my Social Security Disability benefits even when she and I initially thought it would take a miracle to be approved. Ann weathered every storm with me, and give me encouragement every step of the way. She did not falter in any process. STOP!!! READ CAREFULLY IF IT CAN BE DONE SHE CAN DO IT..
I am a client of Ann's. I have had her for only 2 months My first impression of her was and is a lasting one. Very understanding to your needs , and will work hard for you to get what you deserve. I went to her to file an appeal for my social security she came through in only a couple of months. She has a unique way of making you feel like family instead of a client. She is awesome to talk to and will go the extra mile if need to. Whatever it takes she'll get you there and be by your side all the way.. Couldn't have done this without her, She has been a blessing.

Look no Longer!
I have known Ann Tycer for over 15 years and in this time I have been struck by her clear personal mission to help those in need. She is a diligent student of the Law as it pertains to Social Security Disability and has been winning Social Security Benefits for her clients for 23 years. Attorney Tycer knows the system, the workers and the judges who hear these cases and has remained always in the best standing with the court system and the Bar in Middle Tennessee. Lastly, Ann raised her children in Middle Tennessee, in this community. She is not from New Jersey, Texas or California, only to fly in the day of the hearing and fly out as soon as its done.
