Kelly Leibert Frey

 I assist clients in corporate, technology, information technology, intellectual property, and entertainment (film) transactions. I also enjoy working with entrepreneurs to create new value propositions and was certified as a New Product Development Professional.

In the technology sector, I am one of less than 10 attorneys in private practice to be named a Fellow in the World Technology Network (selected by over 1,000 internationally recognized experts and futurists who are current Fellows for innovative legal work recognized to be of "the greatest likely long-term significance"). I literally wrote the book on technology law -Frey on Technology Transactions – as well as dozens of other books and articles on technology, intellectual property, and entertainment law.  I have been selected “attorney of the year” by legal rating services in Technology Law, Information Technology Law, and Intellectual Property Law.

In the entertainment area, I represent a number of film production companies and serve as President of the Nashville Film Festival (one the top 10 film festivals in the U.S.). I have written award-winning scripts, acted in films, crewed, and served as producer/associate producer for several film projects.

I believe strongly in ethical business practices - and I back up this commitment by serving as General Counsel to the Board of the Ethics and Compliance Officers Association (the trade association for the Chief Compliance Officers of the Global 1000).  I have designed a number of cost effective, sustainable, and defensible internal control programs for Fortune 100 companies to help them mitigate their compliance risks and assure their employees behave in an ethical way.
