Michal received his undergraduate degree in Russian Literature in 2012 from Vanderbilt University. He received his Law Degree in 2015 from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. At Emory Law, he was awarded an academic merit scholarship which covered most of his law school tuition. This award was based on his exceptional undergraduate achievement.
Outside the courtroom, Michal enjoys travel, fishing, and skiing. He is fluent in Russian and Polish.
