I am attorney Kate Yeager Delk, and I have been working in Tennessee's justice system for more than 11 years. I represent individuals defending their rights and protecting their futures.
Prior to opening my own practice, I prosecuted cases in the 21st Judicial District (Hickman, Lewis, Perry, and Williamson counties) for 10 years. I tried numerous cases over those 10 years and know what it takes to prove a case beyond a reasonable doubt. Also, as a former prosecutor, I negotiated thousands of cases, and I know how the other side thinks. This unique perspective means I can help protect my clients - both today and in the future. My experience means I know how hard it is for defendants to protect themselves and their rights and how important an experienced attorney is.
After graduating from Washington and Lee School of Law, I clerked for the Court of Criminal Appeals under Judge Tommy Woodall. As one of his two Law Clerks, I researched numerous criminal law issues and drafted opinions.

Attorney Kate has been very open and up front. She is very personable and speaks layman's terms. Always has been available to answer questions.

Kate was very important in helping my son navigate the system. We are from a different state and found ourselves in uncharted waters. I called five attorneys who were all wanting unreasonable retainers and suggesting unreasonable options for my sons situation. Kate saved the day! She is honest- and i...

"I endorse this lawyer. I worked with Kate extensively while she was a prosecutor. She was both great to work with and an excellent advocate for the State. I would recommend Kate to anyone charged with a criminal offense."
"I have worked with Kate while she was in the district attorney's office, and she is smart, reasonable, articulate, and very good at what she does. She has know joined the defense bar and brings with her 11 years of experience from the other side of the table. She is well respected within the legal community.
