John Andrew Barney

The first time I contacted Mr. Barney, it was to assist my wife and me with creating wills and reviewing a lease contract. He was extremely professional, and we were happy with the service we received. So, when my brother told me he was being sued by a major corporation, we recommended Mr. Barney f...or his defense. Mr. Barney exceeded our expectations with the case. He was extremely knowledgeable and committed to the cause. We felt like we had a true partner who cared about us and about justice. He worked long hours due to international conference calls occurring in different time zones and traveled out of state to attend the court hearings, but he never missed one opportunity to defend us. My family could not have been happier with the service we received. I would highly recommend Mr. Barney for any legal matter and for that reason I have given him a 5 star rating.

I had a very positive experience working with John through a very difficult situation. He was able to take a very complex set of circumstances and explain in a way that someone unfamiliar with legal terminology could understand. He did not make decisions for me - he presented alternatives and advised me on the likely outcomes. I made the decision to hire John for my case and right away I was impressed with the level of detailed research he has done. There were over 800 pages of medical reports that he had to analyze and then brought to me some very important details on things that I was not aware of before his research uncovered them. Hiring John has definitely increased my awareness of how an effective attorney can significantly improve the strength of my case. He is very knowledgeable in personal injury/medical malpractice cases and I strongly recommend him for anyone needing an attorney. John displays a high level of integrity in everything he does. I called Mr. Barney about my impending divorce. Several months later I made an appointment. I drove 40 minutes to get to my appointment and was not given clear directions to find his office. There is no sign anywhere in the office park and I had to "ask around" to finally locate his office. I went... in and waiting 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. I was then told that Mr. Barney had an emergency and was not in the office. The other attorney took me in and did an intake form on me. Mr. Barney then ignored all of my phone calls and emails. This is how you run a business? Complete waste of my time and very disrespectful.
