Save your money

I meet with this guy for a free consultation in September of 2014. The meeting last long enough for him to explain the difference in Chapter 7 vs. 13 including the cost of each. As a licensed insurance professional I ask what he thought would be best or should I even file at all. He told me it was ...my decision. So, I thought that a chapter 7 would be best. I paid him his $1860 fee and never seen or spoke with him again. Numerous phone calls emails and even certified mail. Still nothing. If he would have just been there for the questions I had, I wouldn't have been evicted, had my car repoed and been homeless for more than a year. Stay far away from this guy. There are great lawyers out there.

Chapter 13 Case

My family and I have had some hard times lately. Through his ads on television and the Internet, I thought that he would be the best lawyer around. When we went into his office, everything was great, the staff tried to help and explain everything to the best of their knowledge. So, we decided Chapter... 13 was the best option for our family. After filing, and Mr. Klimjack and his firm receiving our fees, we no longer mattered to him. We called and never got returned calls. We sent emails that were never answered. I don't want to disclose anything about our case, but I would not recommend him. In my opinion, after the fees are paid, we no longer mattered to him. If you and your family are in the same situation, please do research and read reviews and find the best lawyer available. My family and I are not satisfied and would not recommended him and his firm to anyone.

Does this guy buy ratings?

I was lured in by the commercial that he would help ease the financial burden when it became too much to bear. My husband and I met with him and he was most insightful about the process we would take for filing bankruptcy. We went in with every intention of filing Chapter 7, but were convinced by M...r. Klimjack's staff that Chapter 13 was the best option IF we wanted to keep our home. My hindsight doubts that at the time we filed, the Trustee would have removed a family of 3 from their home and ordered it sold. Nonetheless, we filed Chapter 13 feeling good that we were going to repay some, if not most of our debts. Once our Chapter 13 was confirmed by the Trustee and the payments began, which were more than our mortgage payment, Mr. Klimjack could not be reached for any questions we had. In fact, a few months into making payments we began to feel the financial burden more than before we filed. It became obvious that we had bitten off more than we could chew and Mr. Klimjack was unable to be reached by telephone or email to consult with us on what to do now. We felt trapped and so we sought the advice of another attorney to seek modification on our payments to keep our Chapter 13 from failing. Bottom line, I don't know how this guy has more than a one star rating unless he has bought ratings or enlisted people to write reviews for him. He is good at the initial consultation and convincing you to file Chapter 13 instead of 7, which he gets a bigger fee for. But once you pay him and your case has been confirmed, you will never hear from him again.
