I grew up on Sand Mountain, in North Alabama. After college, I attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where I graduated cum laude in 1989. Since then, I have practiced 100% plaintiff work, and have represented literally thousands of individuals over the Southeastern United States.
I am licensed to practice law in both Alabama and Mississippi, and primarly specialize in representing individuals who are injured or families who have lost a loved one in motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, nursing home and hospital abuse cases, product liabilty cases, on-the-job accidents, and slip and fall cases. Over the years I have tried over 90 jury cases to verdicts, and am proud to say that I have only lost 5 cases over the past 28 years. Because insurance companies and their attorneys know that we are successful at trial, most of my cases are settled prior to trial for maximum compensation.
I am Board Crtified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, which is held by less that 5% of all lawyers in Alabama. A video of the importance of this board certification can be found at www.nbtalawyers.org. I have also been selected by fellow lawyers and judges as a Super Lawyer in the State of Alabama, a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and member of both the Alabama and Mississippi Bar Association.
I have been practicing in a small law firm for almost fifteen years. We only handle a small number of select cases, which allows my firm to provide individual attention to each client. I provide each client with my cell number, which allows my clients to call me when they need to talk, not just during office hours. If you are interested in speaking witih me, simply call my office at 251-432-8844, and I will be happy to talk with you.
