Not very reliable
Hired Loris law firm in Selma 2012, was very nice when we got into Chapt. 13. Have been trying to get in touch regarding an increase to my payments. Have called the Selma and Mobile office and I cannot get in touch with anyone.
The most common reason for the Trustee's Motion to Increase Payments is either due to missed plan payments or debt has been added to your case. I personally review each Motion filed by the Trustee's office to see if it is objectionable, Please call my direct extension at (251) 281-1386 and I'll be happy to explain the reason for the increase and any options you have if this not affordable to you. Helpful, Honest
I filled chp 13 back in 2012 and it went pretty well. This month will be my last payment. The Loris law firm was good to me through out my bankruptcy. They seem to stay busy and sometimes I had to wait a few days for returned phone calls or emails but I was never forgotten. I would recommend this...
Thank you for your review. Please call me directly at (251) 281-1386 so that I can thank you personally. Jamie Loris
"I endorse this lawyer. Jamie is a great guy and a great lawyer, cares about his clients and really tries to help them in all he does."
"I endorse and recommend this lawyer for consumer bankruptcy issues. He has helped a number of our clients over the years who had personal injury matters but were also facing bankruptcy issues. He has always worked well with our office and the clients on these matters."
"I am a creditor attorney who practices in eight different federal districts. In this role I am always representing creditors against debtors and their attorneys and therefore see the highs and lows of the Debtor attorney bar. Simply put, Mr. Loris stands out in the debtor bar in his representation of his clients. He is always a strong advocate for his clients seeking real solutions to their financial troubles and not simply engaging in the cattle call debtor practice you see so often. Many attorneys will tell individuals what they want to hear instead of what they need to hear. This results in unrealistic bankruptcy plans that are doomed to fail. I have repeatedly seen Mr. Loris file plans that create real long terms solutions that allow an individual to move forward in life with a real bankruptcy solution."

Reprimand issued in AL, 2013
updated on 07/14/2016This means the attorney did something wrong, but the State did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“I've been asked to properly explain this reprimand. In 2012, my associate Judson Crump mistakenly mailed an advertising letter to active bankruptcy clients. To mitigate this misconduct, he immediately contacted each lawyer and mailed an apology letter to each client. However, one of our competitors was compelled to file this complaint. The State Bar then issued this, our only reprimand. This mistake, though embarrassing, shouldn't reflect on the services we have provided over the last 23 years.”
