Keeps His Word and Does Good Job

I hired Mr. Willis to represent me in an auto accident. Mr. Willis advised me on what steps to take in order to insure I was able to receive the maximum amount for my claim. I followed Mr. Willis' instructions and he was able to get me the policy limits for my claim. Mr. Willis told me as long as ...I followed his instructions he would make sure he did not take more in attorney's fee than I put in my own pocket. After getting the insurance company to pay the policy limits Mr. Willis was able to get my medical bills reduced so all the medical bills could be paid plus pay attorney's fee, expenses and still put more in my pocket than Mr. Willis took in attorney's fee. Mr. Willis volutarily reduced his fee and kept his word.

Honest and Good Attorney

I hired Mr. Willis to represent me in a personal injury claim due to an automobile accident. The individual who hit me was insured with Allstate Insurance. Apparently Allstate Insurance has their own lawyers that work for them. Allstate didn't even want to pay for the medical bills. Mr. Willis fi...led suit and was able to collect the policy limits. He worked hard to get my medical bills reduced and then reduced his fee in order to allow me to put as much money in his pocket as he collected in attorney's fees. I followed Mr. Willis' instructions and because of this I was able to have a good result with my case.

Does a Good Job

I was involved in an auto accident. Mr. Willis guided me through the process of what had to be done in my claim in order to be succesful in a recovery. I have had two prior claims where I sustained an injury. As such the third accident involved making sure the insurance companies were not going ...to be able to claim my injuries were from pre-exising problems. Mr. Willis knew how to handle the medical issues and insure the injuries I sustained were attributable to the accident. The defendant tried to hide in my case. Mr. Willis was able to file the necessary motion to insure the defendant was served in accordance with the rules of civil procedure in order to start the litigation process. Without Mr. Willis being able to do what he does I would not have gotten much of anything. As it was Mr. Willis got all my medical bills paid and good amount in my pocket. Mr. Willis kept his word in that I got more in my pocket than he did in attorney's fees even after my medical bills were paid in full.

Good Job

I hired Mr. Willis to represent me in a personal injury claim due to an automobile accident. Mr. Willis had represented my husband in the past and did a good job for him. Mr. Willis obtain a good result through settling my claim against the insurance company who insured the person who hit me. Afte...r paying all medical bills, expenses and attorney's fee's I received over $30,000 in my pocket. The overall settlement was more than six times my damages.

Stayed Suspension/Probation issued in AL, 2010

updated on 01/30/2013

Stayed suspension/probation means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. This type of suspension means the attorney has been suspended, but that the suspension is placed on hold (and ultimately removed) if the attorney complies with certain requirements. In this case the State also monitors the lawyer's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
