Does an awesome job

I hired Mr. Willis to represent me an automobile accident. I did not want to use a TV lawyer. Mr. Willis came highly recommend as someone who was an expert in the area of personal injury law and was actually honest. He was also someone who was said to keep his word and look out for his clients. I... was hit by a drunk driver. Liabliity was not this issue. The questions was how much would Mr. Willis be able to recover for me after paying all medical liens. Although serioius to me, my injuries did not require any type of surgery. My medical liens only came to $750. Mr. Willis was able to recover an overall settlement with out filing suit which was extremely good. The settlement was almost 20 times the medical liens. I was able to get just over $8,900 in my pocket after paying attorney's fees, expenses and medical liens. I would highly recommend Mr. Willis to anyone.

Honorable Attorney

I hired Mr. Willis to represent me due to injuries I sustained in an 18-wheeler accident. The case was filed originally in State Court and the defense attorney removed the case to Federal Court in South Alabama. Mr. Willis instructed me from the outset on various things I should do in order to prot...ect my claim and insure the damages that were related to my claim would be considered. My damages consisted of medical bills, travel cost to and from the doctor's office and pain and suffering. I am retired so there was no lost income or future loss of earnings. After moderate litigation Mr. Willis was able to obtain a settlement offer of more than eleven times my numerical damages. After consulting with two relatives who are members of the legal profession I was informed this was a very good settlement. I was very pleased with Mr. Willis' representation of me and would highly recommend him to anyone, including my family and friends for representation.

Top Notch Personal Injury Attorney

Mr. Willis is the head partner in a firm. I actually met with Mr. Willis and not an investigator or a secretary about my case. Mr. Willis explained what would happen in my case and how it would be handled. Mr. Willis told me what was going to more than likely happen once my case was in a position ...where it could be settled or if we had to file suit. Mr. Willis was able to get me a good settlement. From the outset Mr. Willis said that 99.99% of the time his clients always received more than he got in attorney's fees. He promised me neither he nor his firm would ever take more in attorney fees than I got in my pocket after payment of all medical bills. I recieved more money for my claim than Mr. Willis received in attorney fees and all my medical bills and expenses were paid. It was obvious Mr. Willis knew what he was doing from the outset. I was referred to Mr. Willis by my uncle who he had helped in a personal injury claim.

Honest and Loyal

I hired Mr. Wilis to represent me in a personal injury claim due to an auto accident. Mr. Willis advised me from the start how to proceed with my claim. During the process of my claim I was actually involved in another car accident. Mr. Willis was still able to get all my medical bills paid, attor...ney's fees and expenses paid from the first accident. Mr. Willis said from the outset he would reduce his fee if necessary in order to insure I got as much money as he did in attorney fees regardless of what the contract I signed had written in it. I did in fact receive the same amount of money in my pocket as Mr. Willis took in attorney fees. Mr. Willis is a man of his word and did a good job on my case. He is currently representing me on my second claim and I would recommend him to anyone.

Does a Good Job

I was involved in an auto accident. Mr. Willis guided me through the process of what had to be done in my claim in order to be succesful in a recovery. I have had two prior claims where I sustained an injury. As such the third accident involved making sure the insurance companies were not going ...to be able to claim my injuries were from pre-exising problems. Mr. Willis knew how to handle the medical issues and insure the injuries I sustained were attributable to the accident. The defendant tried to hide in my case. Mr. Willis was able to file the necessary motion to insure the defendant was served in accordance with the rules of civil procedure in order to start the litigation process. Without Mr. Willis being able to do what he does I would not have gotten much of anything. As it was Mr. Willis got all my medical bills paid and good amount in my pocket. Mr. Willis kept his word in that I got more in my pocket than he did in attorney's fees even after my medical bills were paid in full.

Stayed Suspension/Probation issued in AL, 2010

updated on 01/30/2013

Stayed suspension/probation means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. This type of suspension means the attorney has been suspended, but that the suspension is placed on hold (and ultimately removed) if the attorney complies with certain requirements. In this case the State also monitors the lawyer's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
