Donald Windle Lambert

Mr Lambert has been my attorney for the last four years. He is a good attorney and a caring person. I've used other attorneys before and been very dissatisfied with how little they actually cared about you or your case, but not with Mr Lambert. He truly cares and will fight for you. We've been in cou...rt numerous times over a divorce and custody issues with favorable results. I've always been able to get in contact with him when I needed him, even on weekend days. Hes always returned my calls or emails and hes always been very personable. I've recommended him to several people and will continue to do so.

This truly is the most incompetent lawyer I have ever had the displeasure of working with on my case for over a year. He kept telling me that he was a judge and he made so many promises and claims to me in writing and verbally that he never acted on. He billed erroneously and inconsistently. He fa...iled to submit exhibits needed in the case. He showed up unprepared and did not address the items you were in court to discuss. He abandoned me and quit right after court and would not even get on the elevator with me and my family after I questioned him as to why he came unprepared and he didn't ask the judge any of the items we were in court to discuss and his great response was that I should look for a new attorney. My advice to you is to STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS ONE!! He says one thing to you and does something completely different in court.

I used Donald for over a year for the first part of my custody/contempt battle. He was nice and less intimidating that most lawyers I’ve seen but that may not be what you want in a lawyer. I had a lot of problems getting Donald to file stuff in a timely manner and to keep me informed of what was bein...g done. He would often not respond to my attempts to contact him. Most importantly he would not pursue a change in custody for me because he didn’t feel we could overcome the McLendon Standard. He refused to even try. I felt we were not prepared for the case. We were not filing stuff in a timely manner and I wasn’t even being made aware of what the status of filings were. My confidence level dropped significantly with Donald because he became less confident based on rulings he had observed. They even mischarged me on my bill that I had to point out. I never could get him to respond to me or another lawyer with a breakdown of my bill, which should be a given. I ultimately ended up firing Donald mid-case and changed lawyers due to these concerns and newly founded confidence from consulting a different lawyer. The file I received from Donald was a complete mess, and required countless hours from my new lawyer to clean up, and even then my new lawyer still didn’t have all the info. My new lawyer, which was excellent, did pursue overcoming the McLendon Standard to get me custody and she won. I now have 50/50 custody of my son, court ordered counseling for my son that I was pursuing, and several other changes I was pursuing. The lawyer truly made the difference in the case. Choose wisely because I almost didn’t and my son ultimately would have suffered for it.

Mr. Lambert or Don as I call him now has been a truly outstanding advocate for me & my family. We've employed him in three very different matters and been more than satisfied in each case. The first was his advising my now wife regarding our prenuptial contract. My attorney from where I grew up re...commended him but Don gave advice that was in her best interest not mine. The second was an incredibly complicated real estate dispute involving many parties one being a major international bank. Though it took nearly three years due it's nature & some obstinance by the other parties it was settled to our benefit. Don & his partner in this matter were as diligent, appropriately aggressive & effective with the opposition while being patient & reassuring to us in what was a protracted and stressful time in our life. Finally, though it in fact occurred in the middle of the aforementioned, was a criminal matter involving a younger member of our family. Though unpleasant by its nature as well as frustrating. Don's performance was exemplary. He could not have been more caring or effective & for that I am truly grateful.
