AMY K. TANNER CONCENTRATES HER LAW PRACTICE IN THE AREA OF CONSUMER BANKRUPTCY LAW IN NORTH ALABAMA

Amy K. Tanner concentrates her law practice in the area of consumer bankruptcy law in the Huntsville and Decatur offices of the firm and is a shareholder in several of the Bond and Botes, P.C. offices located throughout the southeast. Amy was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Auburn University at Montgomery in 1994. Amy then went on to attend Jones School of Law while working full time and she was awarded her Juris Doctorate degree in December 1998. On April 30, 1999, she was admitted to the Alabama State Bar and has practiced with the Bond and Botes firm since 1999. She is currently admitted to practice in both the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama.

Amy has been a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) since 2004. In 2012, Amy was selected by the NACBA executive board to serve as the Alabama State Chair for all consumer bankruptcy attorneys in Alabama. As the Alabama Chair for NACBA, Mrs. Tanner serves as a liaison between NACBA and attorneys, bankruptcy judges and other court officials, as well as serving as a primary contact for local media regarding consumer bankruptcy issues.

Amy has been a featured speaker at the People’s Law School in Huntsville, Alabama for the past several years. This local program is recorded and airs on local access television channels throughout the State. In addition, Amy has been a speaker at several seminars sponsored by the local bar association.

A Very Competent Lawyer!
When my husband was laid off from work, the timing could not have been worse for us financially. We had been through a few years of unforeseeable financial issues, and were somewhat overextended as a result. The total loss of income meant there was no way to meet all obligations. We researched bankruptcy lawyers online, and talked to a couple. It was clear from the initial contact with Ms Tanner that she is very knowledgeable in her field, is a clear communicator and is able to obtain what information she needs from a client in order to give the best advice, and is very compassionate. We chose to retain her as our attorney, and from the very start, she gave clear, concise instructions as to how best to navigate the best course of action. Within a year, all was taken care of, without any unpleasant surprises. The staff was also always very responsive and helpful throughout the entire experience. All in all, Ms. Tanner made this as painless as it can possibly be to go through bankruptcy, and we are very grateful for her representation.

Very happy with the service received
Mrs. Tanner and her assistants were very professional, prompt, and helpful in getting us through a difficult situation. They answered all of our questions and explained everything in advance. They have a deep understanding of bankruptcy laws and they are people you need on your side. We are certainly glad they represented us.

Bankruptcy and Foreclosure Assistance
I found the assistance provided me from The Bond & Botes Law Firm and especially Ms. Amy Tanner and her Legal Assistant very helpful. I was caught completely off guard with death of my wife while Ms. Tanner was assisting us. The legal knowledge I was fortunate enough to receive was very useful and timely in giving me appropriate step by step guidance for dealing with each time I found myself confronted with something new while going through my bankruptcy and foreclosure need.

First time using using a bankruptcy lawyer and my experience was never better. They are very professional and did their job in a professional way. I'm very pleased with the outcome of my case. This is not something I heard but something I know. Need a bankruptcy lawyer give them a try you want be sorry and you might even learn something in the process.

Madison County is lucky to have a lawyer like Amy Kondrath Tanner
We met Amy at the lowest point in our lives and she was a glimmer of hope showing us a solution from the mountain that was on our shoulders. We had debt from a failed business which eventually spilled over into our mortgage getting behind. We filed a Chapter13 three years ago and it helped save our home. The Chapter13 process was thoroughly explained by Amy and felt we could ask her questions at any time. Amy was knowledgeable, professional, respectful and personable which meant the world to both of us. She was quick at responding to e-mails throughout the filing process and throughout the three years we were making payments to our Trustee. We opted for Chapter13 because we wanted to pay the creditors what we owed and can happily say that we were recently discharged last month. We highly recommend Amy based on our all-around positive experience.

A+ Experience
A Chapter 13 bankruptcy was required in lieu of a divorce. Amy Tanner (Botes and Bonds) was retained to represent my case. The case is currently nearing a close and the bankruptcy term was five years. During those five years, all questions regarding the bankruptcy accounts were address by Amy within hours. The Court and Amy Tanner where nothing but helpful with resolving my catastrophic financial situation. Big thanks to all involved!

I had an excellent experience with Mrs. Tanner as my attorney representing my bankruptcy case. She was professional, thorough, conscientious and caring. She was attentive to my needs and answered my questions throughout the entire time that my case was active. I truly appreciated her kindness and graciousness. Amy Tanner--Just a great lawyer
I have to say that I truly appreciate Amy Tanner’s professionalism and kindness as she has taken us through this difficult process. We have had some issues to come up after the fact, and each and every time she has made sure that these are resolved in a quick manner.
