Tonya Frazier Burleson

For over 20 years, Ms. Burleson has helped Alabama families with divorce, child custody and other family law issues. She has helped clients in counties throughout the state of Alabama to reach their goals.  Ms. Burleson is herself divorced and has two small children.  She has personally faced family law issues in her own life and understands the importance of getting the best possible outcome in your case.  Ms. Burleson loves children and her greatest passion is to ensure the welfare of her client's children.  Ms. Burleson strives to be understanding and compassion of her clients needs.  However, she equally demostrates strength and resolve against their opponents. She understands that it is an honor for her clients to place the future of their family in her hands.

Throughout her life, Ms. Burleson has demonstrated an exceptionally high level of intelligence.  In 1984, Ms. Burleson graduated from high school at the age of 15. She was valedictorian of her class.  She then went on to earn a B. S. degree from Birmingham-Southern College. Ms. Burleson majored in both accounting and mathematics.  She graduated summa cum laude from Birmingham- Southern in 1987 and was chosen to receive the additional honor of membership in Phi Beta Kappa.  She was only 19 years old.  Ms. Burleson continued her education at Cumberland School of Law where she received the degree of Juris Doctor in May 1990.  She was a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy.  In October 1990, Ms. Burleson was admitted to practice law in the state of Alabam at the age of 22.  Ms. Burleson is the owner and founder of The Burleson Firm where she focuses on helping Alabama men and women with family law issues.
