"I first met Slate's father, the late Clarence McDorman, many years ago because a family law client of mine was needing a lawyer to review a possible malpractice case against a former attorney. Clarence was a brilliant attorney and one of the few in the state who handled legal malpractice cases. Years later, I met Slate McDorman, after he had begun practicing law with his father. I was representing a divorce client whose case had been mishandled by another lawyer. My job was to work to correct the mistakes made in the divorce. Slate and Clarence were handling a malpractice case against the client's first attorney. I have worked closely with Slate over the years and have gotten to know him well. I have been extremely impressed by his skill and intelligence. Slate has clearly inherited his father's legal ability. It is my opinion that you could not find a better legal malpractice attorney in the state of Alabama. I highly recommend him in this field."
