Jessie Keating Hardy

Jessie is passionate about family law and representing individuals in transition, including custody disputes and business divisions. Her practice is focused on divorce, alimony, asset division, child support, child custody, visitation, paternity, dependency, modification matters, contempt and other family law issues. She serves clients throughout Alabama and primarily practices in Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair and Blount counties.

Jessie is a Board Member of the Family Law Section of the Alabama State Bar. Jessie was awarded the honor of Rising Star Lawyer, nominated by her peers in the Birmingham Bar Association, and she was featured in the March 2019 and March 2014 issue of B Metro Magazine as a Top Attorney. She is active in the Family Law Section of the Bar Associations in Alabama, Florida and nationally with the American Bar Asssociation. She volunteers at the Second Saturday: What Women Need to Know About Divorce Panel and she is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Alabama Family Law Section Board. Jessie is a member of the Junior League of Birmingham and a Board Member of Pathways Shelter: A Woman's Way Home. Jessie is also the past Director of the Alabama Family Law Section's premier annual three-day certified legal education program, Divorce on the Beach.

Jessie is passionate about service and giving back to the community outside of the law. Jessie volunteers for the Birmingham Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Program both through accepting pro-bono cases and volunteering at the Domestic Relations Help Desk. She also volunteers as a legal presenter for the complimentary Second Saturday Workshops for women considering divorce. Jessie is currently a member of the Junior League of Birmingham and she has also been an active member of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham.
