Biography
Jessie Hardy is a family law attorney with over a 14 years of experience serving clients in both Alabama and Florida. Before founding J. Hardy Family Law, she began her legal career in domestic and family law in the Birmingham metropolitan area in April 2011.
Jessie’s practice encompasses a wide array of family law matters, including contested and uncontested divorces, property division, asset valuation, alimony, child support, child custody, visitation, paternity, and post-divorce modifications. She is deeply committed to advocating for families, offering compassionate and tailored representation to meet each client’s unique needs.
Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Jessie holds dual licenses to practice law in both Alabama and Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from Florida State University in 2006, followed by her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2010.
Jessie is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Alabama State Bar, Florida State Bar, Birmingham Bar, and American Bar Associations. She is also an active participant in the Family Law Sections of both the American and Alabama Bar Associations, currently serving as Treasurer of the Alabama Family Law Section.
