Derek Simms 1000% is the best. Had a DUI case that he worked for several years and on the day of the trial, had it pleaded down to a lesser charge, one that the prosecutors did not want to plead. I first spoke with Mr. Simms after spending countless hours on the web searching for a competent attorney (there is apparently no shortage of attorneys in Alabama). Within minutes of conversing with Derek, I felt a great sense of relief. He seemed very knowledgable on traffic law ( I am a comm...ercial truck driver) and though he said the bar prohibited him from promising an outcome, he virtually assured me that he could keep this violation off my record. I had a lot riding on this verdict, as another driving infraction would have resulted in me losing my CDL and thus my livelihood.
