Temple is the voice for the people that feels unheard.

I had an issue with a company and decided it's time to take a stand against what I believed was injustice. I reached out to Temple and explained my concerns and expressed to her that this has to stop. Without hesitation she reviewed my documents and accepted my case. I am very satisfied with the outc...ome. Temple's knowledge of the laws and professionalism is unmatched. I would recommend her to everyone that feels they don't have a voice, when it comes to being mistreated. Temple can and will walk with you step by step. You will never feel alone. Temple is unafraid to challenge any company when you gather your facts to support your claim. I salute her.

Lacked Cultural Sensitivity and Neutrality

I had a phone consultation with Temple Trueblood and initially felt the conversation was going well. However, that changed when I began explaining the details of a workplace discrimination issue. I shared that my concern involved someone in a position of authority showing preferential treatment to an...other employee who shared their same race and gender. The attorney first asked for that individual’s race, then asked for mine. When I responded, she seemed surprised as if she had assumed I was the same race as her. From that point on, I noticed a clear shift in her tone. What concerned me most was how she reframed my words. Rather than acknowledging the imbalance I described, she twisted my statement into something I never said suggesting that I was asking for preferential treatment. This felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially during a conversation about racial bias. Although she ultimately said she couldn’t take my case, I left the consultation feeling unheard and misrepresented. The change in tone after I disclosed my race, along with her mischaracterization of my words, raised serious concerns about her ability to remain neutral in cases involving discrimination. I do not recommend this attorney if you’re seeking someone with cultural competence and the ability to approach sensitive topics like racial or gender bias without personal assumptions or bias.

I have reviewed my potential client intake notes from the past three months because if anyone left an initial consultation with me feeling this way I would want to reconnect with them to ensure they did not feel dismissed or disregarded for any reason. While I have not been able to locate a potential client with whom I have spoken in the past few months that fits the submitted scenario, I do welcome a follow up call to flesh out any concerns. I truly hope that no actual client or potential client of mine would ever feel this way after interacting with me. My goals throughout my 25 years of practice have always been and still are to help people to pursue their legal rights under the existing laws, as well as to provide a thorough and down-to-earth assessment of whether or not a potential client may or may not have remedies available under those laws. Racial bias and discrimination is unfortunately still very real in our society, and I take these matters very seriously and have had the honor of representing clients of many races, ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, and religions throughout my career and I strive to ensure that all of their federally protected rights are honored. Any questions I may ask a potential client about their race or the race of others are solely for the purpose of allowing me to assess the basis of the race discrimination claim they wish to pursue.

Excellent Representation

Temple and her law firm represented me in a discrimination case; and she handled the case with professionalism, knowledge and the outcome was in my favor. Temple, herself is an excellent attorney that kept me informed and fought for me.

Temple was excellent to work with. She quickly answered any questions, my emails were always replied to, and she set realistic expectations regarding my case. I would recommend Temple to anyone who is pursuing an employment lawsuit.

Temple was fabulous and able to guide me through the process so that I was able to stand up for what was right. She was very caring and put everything out there in a way that I could understand.

"I am pleased to endorse Temple Trueblood. I may be the only lawyer who has worked with Temple as co-counsel and against her as opposing counsel. In both matters Temple was the consummate professional. She is a zealous representative of her client but fair and collegial with the other lawyers. Her critical thinking, analytical ability, work ethic, and understanding of the law would well serve anyone with an employment problem. I encourage anyone with such a problem to contact Temple and am pleased to give her an unqualified recommendation."

"I endorse this lawyer. I have co-counseled with Ms Trueblood many times and am very familiar with her skills, her tenacity, and her relationship with clients. She is a dogged litigator and has a keen insight into the facts and available law on the case. She possesses thorough familiarity with the procedure of the courts in which she practices. She is supported by highly qualified staff and paralegal back-up, as well the financial resources to see any case through. She prepares exhaustively for discovery, especially depositions, and explores all avenues to ferret out the critical information. She defends her clients in depo and trial and aggressively yet ethically pursues opponent witnesses throughout. Her trial skills are organized and effective. She is tireless. She has certainly surpassed my skill level despite her much younger age. I would recommend her to any client."
