Biography
I have more than 15 years of experience in this business. Although experienced in all aspects of litigation,I have focused my practice on legal research and writing. I have handled numerous appeals at every level of the judicial system, from the Alabama Supreme Court to the U.S. Supreme Court. During the last 13 years in private practice, I have specialized in employment law, while continuing to handle many other types of civil cases. I further sharpened my writing skills through my service on the Editorial Board of The Alabama Lawyer, for which I have written three articles. After working in both small-firm and large-firm practices, I have recently chosen to become a freelance attorney in order to allow me to do what I love, writing about the law, while still devoting time to my family.
