Attorney Todd Kawecki came highly recommended to me by a complete stranger at church. He treated my son and I like human beings, not just another client or criminal. He always kept the line of communication open, and even repeated things to us that we were confused on. Most importantly, he was always honest and never promised us anything! He told us what my son was facing from the beginning and never led us to believe that he could perform a miracle for us. Todd Kawecki is hands down the best lawyer. I don’t have one complaint toward him. I had 2 poss of Heroine in 2 different county’s and I didn’t get no jail time on both the felony’s! When you get a drug charge it’s mandatory that you get your license suspended well my amazing lawyer Todd made it that... I kept my License Thank god. I hired Todd after my first lawyer (Joshua Deckard) made a huge mess of my case.. Todd saved me from “certain jail time” as my first attorney referred to it. Todd also only charged half the price and gave me the best possible outcome, while my first lawyer tried to get me to accept jail time. Todd is... very knowledgeable and fast to respond when trying to get in touch. From here on out he is the attorney I will consult if I ever get into any more legal trouble. This review may be longer than most but a must read when selecting the right guy to represent you, your family, or your friends! He first was one of the most responsive attorneys I found when seeking out representation for a friend. His rate was more than fair for the case at hand and assured me it... covered it from beginning to end. These were State (Fl.) felony gun charges by the way. Unbeknownst to both of us this friend was on probation in another Florida county for felony possession of a firearm. Now there's two prosecutors in different counties...He took it upon his self to follow up on these charges by my request only to find out this too was yet another difficult task. Didn't ask for an extra dime either! Infact he was able to conger up a plea that would've expedited the first case and even offered to possibly refund some of the money if it didn't go to trial. Even just the thought of that speaks volumes of the man! Well guess what...now the Fed's took the case from the state so my friend is looking at three trials and 20+ years in prison. This has now drug on for months and I felt obligated to see if he would need another retainer to keep up with this judicial train wreck. His answer " Not yet let's just see where this goes" . Unbelievable! Todd now was able to leverage the original state case to drop it and let the Fed's take over. According to the paperwork I signed its case closed and he's done his job right.?. Nope! He instead continued to pursue the case in the other county which would've been time for my friend after he got out of federal prison and managed to get them to drop the charges. Having delt with them a little myself that was no easy task in either! He also kept up with federal defense attorney to keep myself and his family updated as much as possible. Didn't have to do most of what I just described but but very honorably and passionately represented his oath to defend the rights of others when your life has taken a turn for the worse. I saved this for last....NEVER MET THE MAN ONE TIME! He accomplished all this by speaking to me over the phone on good faith. That being said if ever I'm near his county I'll not pass through without stopping in to shake his hand! Incredible job by an incredible man! So many thanks !!!
