I am torn between spending a half an hour writing about my experience with this attorney and paralegal (and apparently the firm), or just leaving a short and factual nasty remark. I’ll try to be brief to save the reader and myself more stress. I hired this attorney and spent six months with a par...alegal in a financially desperate situation to get a divorce. Despite being promised a manageable Payment program so that I could maintain the divorce cost (which I was promised in our first and only pro bono meeting), after six months of work with a good paralegal, I was informed by my attorney’s ‘main’ paralegal that not only had MY paralegal been let go, but that any discussions with her about payments would not be honored by the firm, which immediately required a higher monthly payment or a 10% payment of my increasing balance....... which ever was higher! While I barely could’ve made the increase in my payment, the firm knew my financial situation and knew that the required 10% of their ever increasing balance would be enough to force me to seek other help( of course without the $4000 retainer I would need again for a new attorney ). They knowingly squeezed me out, because my finances did not make it a profitable venture for them to continue. There are 30 or 40 more disgraceful details I could go into, but to be clear.... I never spoke once to Weiksnar throughout this ordeal, to professionally and maturely confront me, but who hid behind other staff who did the dirty work. I hope the website allows me to add details about my experiences, for there are many many more. Suffice it to say ,The entire firm actually owes me money, and I’m poor! they have refused to refund me. If anyone needs confirmation of my story in there evaluation of lawyers, please contact me in Florida and I will do my best to steer you away from this entire disgraceful outfit. Despite it taking me six months to save up money to give to a new attorney to keep my divorce on track, by the grace of God I actually found an honest and hard-working lawyer to save my legal life.
