Biography
With more than 15 multi-million dollar trials or settlements under my belt, I manage the firm from the Stuart, Florida office. I have about 100 trials and nearly a thousand depositions over my career in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, business and employment litigation, civil rights, class actions, product liability claims and other complex litigation matters.
I have litigated employment cases against corporate giants like General Motors, Wal-Mart, HCA, and Tyco International, and taken on the biggest insurance companies in death and serious injury cases all around Florida and the United States.
I am a member of the Florida Bar, Federal District Courts for Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the 11th Circuit in Atlanta and a member of numerous trial lawyer associations and charities. I am also a mediator, a graduate of FSU (BS) 1983 and Nova Southeastern (JD) 1987. I am happily married; my two daughters are pursuing careers in California. I am a pilot, certified diver, aspiring chef and have a great love of music, sports and technology.

“The Florida Bar slapped my wrist because I included a sentence in a client's contract requiring him to pay an hourly legal fee if he dropped or settled the case without my knowledge. This clause was added to our standard contingency contract because the client did this to a prior attorney before coming to us. The client agreed to the terms. We worked hard on his case. The client settled with the other side without telling us. The Bar found the clause inserted to protect the firm was improper.”
